Ukraine will not receive shells until the US replenishes its own stockpiles - Foreign Policy
Even after the allocation of financial aid, most of the weapons Ukraine needs will not make it to the front. The pause will last until early next year, Foreign Policy reported, citing U.S. officials.
The Biden administration is expected to spend most of the year restoring the U.S.'s own stockpile to pre-war levels.
On the other side of the Atlantic, arsenals are empty, too. Most of the 1.4 million rounds of ammunition promised to Ukraine by the European Union will not be delivered until the end of 2024. Yes but only because Russia inherites large military stockpiles from USSR. if not the case Ukraine will be almost at equal footing.

Ukraine military spending: $100 billion ($65 billion plus $35 billion foreign assistance)
