How do you know Ukrainians won't have the ability to maintain them? Just like Patriot battery I'm pretty sure they are going to have US/NATO "advisers" teaching them how to maintain such fighters. F-16's are the most numerous fighters in NATO there will be no shortage of parts.

It's training mechanics and weapons technicians. There are 25 maintenance personnel needed for every pilot.
