It benefits China to drag this conflict out. It blocks Western companies from the lucrative Russian consumer products market, leaving it only for Chinese companies.

China has 100 times the weapons production capacity of Russia. If China supplies weapons to Russia, Ukraine lose too fast. North Korea and Iran is sufficient for Russia to hold its own. North Korea and Iran buy HJ-12 from China and supply to Russia as lend lease.
 
Russia plans to use Krasnopol laser guided 6 inch shell to counter Ukraine's M1A1 tank.

Right now most of the USA's funds are going to Isra-hell to help genocide of local/native people (Palestinians).

Let’s see. Putin will win the next election with 99.99 percent. That will give him 6y more to rule Russia. By then he will be close 80y. Assuming he changes the constitution again and continues to consume super drugs he will reach 100y old age.
The war can continue for 26y. Not 500y.

The war continues after Putin. China bankrolls this conflict with a lot of money. And I mean a LOT. The war benefits China by blocking Western companies from the lucrative Russian consumer products market, leaving it only to Chinese companies.
