Ukraine actually has an army and Air defenses capable of fighting back, and has since 2014.

Russia was and is nowhere near as capable as the US. The Russians suffered massively from logistical issues from the beginning.

Their attempt at their own version of shock and awe did little to no damage, as most of Ukraine's air defense systems continued to function.

Russia also bombed hospitals, schools, churches, mosques...etc, just like they did in Syria.

The Russian Empire is just as even as the US empire is. Stop defending them.

They could quite easily pound their parliament, kill the Jew-comedian zelenski but haven't....think.

Its called active air defense. The Russians have tried to kill Zelenskyy multiple times, both through assassinations squads, and through air strikes.

They all failed.

He sure changed his boots pretty fast and actually increased the shelling and bombing civilians in the east, till someone else got so pissed off, that they came in to protect the civilians?
