So, this isn't money being sent to Ukraine, the money is staying in the UK, and going to factories that produce items needed, thus creating UK jobs. Also, a huge amount of it will be through old systems almost out of shelf-life, which needs to be replaced anyway.

No I'm neutral on the war and don't like Russia.
There's nothing to suggest he uses the money on UK weapons and this loan can be used to buy weapons from other states, and we have France and Germany waiting in the wings for that. Had he specifically said BAE etc will benefit and thus creating demand in our economy then it was fine.
Regardless I'm just reiterating what the British public is saying openly now.
