there is no comparison.
at Dunkirk 400,000 allied troops were encircled.
Ukraine troops at Kursk were estimate 10,000-15,000 men vs 60,000 russians, supported by 10,000 north koreans.
the Ukraine army can retreat much easier to the mainland,
while the franco-english armies were blocked by the north seas.

Kursk lifted pressure off Kharkiv and the eastern front. It’s why Russias Kharkiv operation went nowhere, and Russias eastern front at Pokrovsk has completely stalled out. Kursk served its purpose well
