At Avdiivka, Russia suffered over 26,000 dead and wounded since October at minimum. I’ve seen as high as 50K. They also lost over 650+ pieces of armor.
Avdiivka was a small city of 32K, and a tiny blot on the Ukraine map. For Russia to take Donetsk Oblast, they’d have to take both Sloviansk and Kramatorsk, both cities of 100K and 150K. This would take an enormous effort from Russia, and if Ukraine received a steady supply of artillery practically impossible.
If Ukraine aid passed, the US could send 100K 155mm shells tomorrow.

Russia has always shown it is prepared to pay a high price and the momentum of the war is with Russia now. Best for Ukraine to settle for piece now …
Russia has shown what it takes to win in modern war and it has shown it is prepared to pay the price. Ukraine has shown it is not prepared to pay the price. Ukraine counteroffensive was a total failure….
The sooner Ukraine stops this nonsense then the better for Ukraine it will be..
