Russia - Ukraine war part ll. News and Discussions

There is no response. Ukraine has been conducting a consistent strike campaign against Russian oil assets since August.
Today, MiG-31K fighter jets launched their first strikes with Kinzhal hypersonic missiles on targets in the Odessa region. After the strikes on Russian tankers, Moscow is taking decisive action. Vladimir Putin has already warned that the Russian Armed Forces will cut Ukraine off from the sea in response to attacks on Russian ships.

Two villains, one goal.
How Trump and Putin are attacking Europe.

In fact, that's exactly how it is. We wrote about this back in April (see quote below). And you laughed 😐
War is a business project. And huge respect to our leader and helmsman for thinking strategically and from a position of long-term benefit, to the detriment of his pride and momentary impulses, instead of hitting the asshole with a nuke, as we would all like.
In this, they are similar to Trump.
That's why they're so good at working together to screw over the clowns from the EU and Ukraine. And in the end, we'll come out of this mess ahead, even though it may seem otherwise to the short-sighted.

The US has a huge national debt, which will not be called in for only two reasons: the military power of the US and the dollar as the world's reserve currency. If all your wealth is in dollars, the last thing you want is for the dollar to suffer the same fate as the Soviet ruble.
To those who believe that everything is fine in the US, I would remind you that in 1988 the USSR launched the Buran-Energia, and in 1991 Snickers bars were already being sold in underground passages. The process of economic collapse is inert. But once it gets going, there's no stopping it. Even if you have Star Trek, Facebook, and Elon Musk.
To fix the situation, the US needs to kill a big pig. There are two such pigs in the world: China and Europe.
It is still scary to slaughter China (but we see systematic preparations for this event, which may happen in 30-40 years). But Europe is possible. And necessary.
Which is what is happening.
Everything is very simple in this world. The main thing is not to believe in elves and orcs, like the Ukrainians.

it's a lot easier for Ukraine to raise an insurgency in Russia and in Donbas than the other way around, because Ukrainians speak Russian and Russians can't speak Ukrainian

Lots of Russians speak Ukrainian. Millions of Ukrainians fled to Russia since February 2014 when war started.

Also, Russian and Ukrainian are pretty similar, sort of like between Dutch and German or between Portuguese and Spanish. It's really easy to learn the other if you know how to speak one.

lol, 86% of Ukrainian speak Russian, only around 10% of Russian speak Ukrainian.

And again, they won't be fighting if they don't see the other side as an enemy, and did you actually speak Dutch, German, Portuguese, and Spanish? I speak Portuguese and Spanish and some German, while it's still similar, but it's a different structure and wording, you won't understand what the other guys said. On the other hand, Russian and Ukrainian are two different languages with the same common root, it's like English and German, they were both Germanic, that's it, if you speak English only, you won't understand German, and vice versa, Ukrainian and Russian are both old East Slavic langauge, both with a different diversion, Russian are old Russian while Ukrainian are Ruthenian, which is closer to the Baltic than Russian, a Pole may understand what an Ukrainian say in Ukrainian more than a Russian. Dude, have you ever meet any Russian and Ukrianian before?

710,000 russian soldiers
if adding support troops Putin’s invasion army is over 1 million men.
The fighting troop alone is more than the armies of Germany, France and UK combined.

"The buildings in Gulaypole on the right bank of the Gaychur have been cleared.
We are not yet repelling the advance on the left bank. "

Footage of strikes by Russian missiles, presumably from a Tornado-S multiple launch rocket system, on temporary deployment sites of Ukrainian units located in the village of Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region. The strike used precision-guided missiles equipped with a GLONASS satellite guidance system. Judging by the video, the Tornado-S missile strikes destroyed buildings.

Doubt. Modern day wars are tiny compared to wars of the past. The entire Russian army is probably like 50,000 men and 200 tanks and 100 fighter jets.

Mighty 155 mm self propelled gun is obsolete and no match for toy drones of modern warfare.

RU POV: Destruction of a Ukrainian PzH-2000 155mm self-propelled gun by Russian Armed Forces FPV drones in the Vostok Group of Forces' area of responsibility.
