Speaking russian doesn’t mean they are russian. Look at the map of the Swiss, not far from I live, the people speak 4 languages. Otherwise Germany can claim great part of it. Or the French.

Not unprovoked. Crimea seceded from Kiev rule following the Euro Maidan riot and established Russian East Ukraine which is the pro Russian part of East Ukraine which is the half of Ukraine east of Dnepr.

Us Chinese people will continue to support Russian East Ukraine as we have done since 2014.

Russian East Ukraine cannot beat Ukrainian East Ukraine. Ukrainian East Ukraine cannot beat Russian East Ukraine. Eventually, East Ukraine will be divided between Russian East Ukraine and Ukrainian East Ukraine, just like Ireland was divided between Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.

If borders are not good enough, they can be changed. Kosovo was split out of Serbia. South Sudan was split out of Sudan, the US was split out of the UK, Belarus was split out of Russia, Republic of Ireland was split out of the UK.

Terminology:
Ukrainian East Ukraine is the pro Ukrainian part of East Ukraine.
Russian East Ukraine is the pro Russian part of East Ukraine.
East Ukraine is the half of Ukraine east of Dnepr.
West Ukraine is the half of Ukraine west of Dnepr.
Russia is Russia at 1991 border when USSR went kaput.

Language has nothing to do with it. A language can have many countries. There's 10+ countries that speak Spanish. There's 10+ countries that speak Arabic. Portugal and Brazil speak Portuguese. Luxemburg speaks German. Doesn't mean Luxemburg should be part of Germany.

Footage of strikes by Russian ODAB-500 bombs equipped with the UMPK module against positions of the Ukrainian 414th Separate Unmanned Aerial Systems Brigade "Birds of Madiar." The Ukrainian drone operators were located in buildings near the village of Vesele in the Kherson region. The ODAB-500 bombs were dropped by a Su-34 frontline bomber.

Good point. And what about those rioters trying to lynch Yanukovych? That is humiliation for Russians. Russians will never ever tolerate humiliation. Before the riot Russia and Ukraine had very good relation. Ukraine was granted independence in 1991 on the condition it will be neutral and not be Russia's enemy. Ukraine broke that promise after the riot. The result is war.

Yes.
It started around 2014 with western backed "regime change" operation in Ukraine.

Ukraine then started killing ethnically Russian Crimeans resulting in its annexation.

Of course, exceptionalist westerners will omit that as well as their own crimes such as their Gaza genocide of over 500,000 based on lies such as 40 beheaded babies.

Another important thread on Ukraines fortifications. It has expanded significantly, and the Russian offensive has slowed to a crawl.
