Technically it’s a stalemate, but in the grand scheme Russia has lost the war. 1,350,000 dead and wounded with no real attainable strategic goals in sight. Russia “hopes” to take the Donbas sometime in the next few years.

Only reason the war hasn’t ended is because Putin can’t accept the humiliation of withdrawal.

Looking at those video's is demoralizing as hell. One video that affected me and still runs in the back of my mind is how one Russian soldier just gave up on shooting the drone, was completely drained, put down his rifle, and just stood there to take the drone. All the while another drone was recording the encounter until the bitter end.

The value of a human life is down to the cost of a drone: $500.

No, but war is reality. War is human nature. As long as there are humans around, there will be war. In fact, there is war every day somewhere in the world. I would say even gang wars are some sort of war, even though the scale is small. Do you agree there is gang war every day in the US?
