How serious is this rumors that the Indonesian Navy is close to buy almost 'a dozen' S26T and Luyang III.

I heard this multiple times already and one guy even said that we're close to 90%.

This is why I post the thread, at first this rumor about buying S26T and 052D seems like a cheap rumor, but more and more people with insights to the MoD are talking about it.

I would prefer Turkish/French/Italian ships as it is more politically safe.

052d to Indonesia damn big if true that's a huge upgrade. But is china really going to sell it when she's not even done upgrading her fleet.

I would not be surprised if the ships ended up in the Navy inventory, but there's a serious question because the likely adversary of the Navy would have known the ins and out of the boat.

Making them potential easy prey.
