Soon in Saudi Arabia, a factory for new workers (robots)

We are working to open a factory to build the next generation of robots on December 18, with our partners in Carrier, Tahakm Company, and SoftBank.
Today, Tuesday, the “Al-Alat” company, owned by the Public Investment Fund, announced the signing of 4 global agreements with technology companies: “SoftBank Group,” “Carrier Corporation,” “Dahua Technology,” and “Tahkam.”
Machines will provide sustainable manufacturing capabilities to help these global companies reduce their emissions and move towards zero-carbon manufacturing.



It will quickly implement its mission by cooperating with leading global companies to enhance innovation and transform the course of various sectors, with a commitment and focus on the use of clean energy.
Alat Company will invest 375 billion riyals by 2030 to enhance the capabilities of the technical sector, benefiting from the rapid development witnessed by this sector in the Kingdom.
The company will also work to empower the private sector and enhance the activity of the commercial environment through its business systems and cooperation with leading international companies in the manufacture of advanced technologies.
Alaat is working to accelerate the pace of implementing its plans and achieving its ambitions.
Softbank Group
Alat, in cooperation with SoftBank Group, one of the largest technology investment groups in the world, will establish a modern industrial automation company in the Kingdom that will manufacture leading industrial robots.
The partners will invest up to $150 million to establish a fully automated manufacturing and engineering center to meet local and global demand. The plan aims to open this industrial station by December 2024.
Global CEO of Machines, Amit Midha, said: “We aim with this strategic agreement to be the beginning of changing the course of manufacturing around the world, and through our cooperation with SoftBank Group, we look at the tremendous opportunities in the Saudi, Gulf and global robotics market. We expect that the first phase of This joint project will contribute one billion dollars to the Kingdom’s gross domestic product by 2025, and we also aspire to bring about a radical transformation in the field of manufacturing products using robots made in the Kingdom.”
