What time is the best to visit Saudi Arabia for Ummrah and visiting some historic sites? like which time of the year will be best weather wise, and I prefer less crowd so off season would be good, and what will be best mode of transport within KSA?

• Late October–November: warm but increasingly comfortable, especially for walking around historic sites.
• December–February: best overall weather, but generally more popular with tourists and visitors.
• March–April: can still be pleasant, but crowds rise as you approach Ramadan/Hajj-related periods depending on the Islamic calendar.
• May–September: I would avoid for a history-heavy trip unless you are comfortable with extreme heat. AlUla is somewhat more forgiving than central/southern Saudi, but much of KSA is very hot.

Sorry i deleted the post due to wrong thread, i couldn't find that other general Arabia discussion thread for some reason.

So i've discussed this little with Arabia guy, I was planning something next year (2027). My Parents+sister+brother(his wife&kid) they did Ummrah back in 2025 and they wanted me to come as well but i was busy due to switching to a new department. I would love to do Ummrah (I can't afford Hajj) but I don't just want to perform ummrah, my plan was to visit for at least 10-12 days which include visiting important sites such as Badr, Uhud, Taif, and any other places which are visited by Rasool Allah or he had made a stay.

I hate rushing into things so i wanna take my time to soak in the real beauty of these place, I would love to visit one of these resorts Arabia was showing me but they are very very expensive, they are beautiful but way way out of my budget.

- Launching an AI-powered smart operating system, "Humain OS," making it the first country after the United States and China to enter this field. Commercial marketing is scheduled to begin at the LEAP conference in Riyadh next April.

- Developing a massive infrastructure through the "Humain Core" project, a huge data center complex currently under construction in the Kingdom, with a capacity of up to 6 gigawatts per center.

- These centers are not only being built to meet local demand, but global clients such as Amazon, xAI, and Luma have already committed to using the Saudi infrastructure to train and operate their models, according to Amin.

This project is part of Humain's long-term expansion plans for AI-focused data centers, aiming to reach operational capacities of approximately 6 gigawatts in the coming years. This is part of its efforts to build one of the world's largest AI computing and power platforms, leveraging the Kingdom's abundant energy and infrastructure.

Humain has launched its HUMAIN Chat app, an interactive chat application powered by artificial intelligence and the "Allam 34B" model.

Key details of the app, model capabilities, and the data it was trained on (according to Faisal Al-Saif):

The app is designed to serve all Arabic-speaking users, supported by the "Allam 34B" model (a leading Arabic language model developed by Humain).

It was trained on a massive dataset of 8 petabytes (1 petabyte ≈ 1000 terabytes).

Over 380 billion words of Arabic content and more than 390,000 books, with the platform guaranteeing security and scientific reliability.

More than 120 AI specialists contributed to building this model. The technologies were developed entirely in Saudi Arabia by Saudi talent.

According to independent organizations such as Cohere Canada, through the Multitasking Language Comprehension Test (MMLU), the HUMAIN Chat model is ranked as the most powerful Arabic AI model developed in the Middle East.

Among its key features are:

- Instant internet search to provide the latest information

- Excellent support for both Arabic and English, with seamless switching between the two languages within a single conversation

- Compliance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection System

- Voice input in Arabic with support for various dialects, including:

(Saudi, Algerian, Egyptian, Gulf, Iraqi, Jordanian, Lebanese, Libyan, Modern Standard Arabic, Moroccan, Syrian, Tunisian, and Yemeni)

The HUMAIN Chat application is now available to everyone in Saudi Arabia and can be accessed through the website or the app on Android and iOS. It will be rolled out gradually worldwide, God willing.
