Saudi Arabia's investments in blue ammonia made it one of the world's leading producers of this clean fuel, which is classified as a gateway to clean energy, and thus began a circular economy that grows and integrates rapidly📍🇸🇦.

Let us mention the most important details of the report regarding the points and importance of blue ammonia:

⁃Blue ammonia (NH3) is a versatile chemical compound, traditionally used in agriculture as a fertilizer and in various industrial processes

⁃The blue ammonia production process relies on capturing up to 90% of the carbon dioxide produced by manufacturing, making it an attractive option for difficult to decarbonize sectors such as shipping, aviation and heavy industry.

⁃The shift towards blue ammonia production is part of Saudi Arabia’s plan to achieve Vision 2030

⁃Aramco is playing a leadership role in promoting the hydrogen economy by shipping the first carbon-neutral ammonia to Japan in 2020, a global achievement that strengthens the Kingdom’s position as a leader in blue ammonia production and export.

⁃The Saudi mining company “Ma’aden” @ManaraMinerals also plays
Significantly in the export of blue ammonia, as it exported 138,000 tons of blue ammonia to South Korea, which is one of the largest exports approved globally.
