Those researches are never accurate, 30 years ago scientists predicted that Beijing would be swallowed by desert in 20 years and 20 years ago researchers predicted Beijing would be out of water in 10 years, but now deserts that once threatened Beijing is totally gone and Beijing now has more than eough water, those "researchers, both home and abroad, couldn't be more wrong.

That can be true or taken from different seasons, but anyway the earth gets warmer and cooler all the time, nothing is really worth those sensational doomsday prophecy.

Shiquanhe ( Indus River ) is originated from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Kailash , it is being constantly fed by the water from melted glaciers of the Kailash mountain.
China and Pakistan should work together, If India blocks the Indus river, China should block Shiquanhe and allow no water to flow into India.

100% brother. It would be incredible to divert the Indus away so it doesn't run through Indian held Kashmir and straight into Pakistan via Gilgit and Balistan. But sadly due to geography it wouldn't be possible.

India, China To Resume Kailash Mansarovar Yatra From June​

The pilgrimage to Mount Kailash and Mansarovar Lake in China's Tibet Autonomous Region holds religious significance to Hindus as well as Jains and Buddhists.​

After a gap of nearly five years, India and China will resume the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra from June -- a move being seen as an attempt to normalise their relationship that was severely hit by the eastern Ladakh border standoff.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Saturday said the Yatra is set to take place from June to August via two routes -- Lipulekh Pass in Uttarakhand and Nathu La in Sikkim.

The pilgrimage to Mount Kailash and Mansarovar Lake in China's Tibet Autonomous Region holds religious significance to Hindus as well as Jains and Buddhists.

"Kailash Manasarovar Yatra organised by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) is set to take place during June to August 2025," the MEA said.

The Yatra was suspended initially in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequently because of the military standoff between the two sides on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh.

The militaries of India and China completed disengagement of troops at the two remaining friction points of Demchok and Depsang under a pact sealed on Oct. 21 last year.
