I don’t have the numbers to justify but the first impression from the video… Smash 2 seems to be much faster than original smash.

I think it will be a game changer in Operation Sindoor 2.0. Since the prime focus on Op Sindoor will be naval.

I don't think it's Smash 2.
It's Same Smash that was tested earlier.Same design though with matured tech inside.
A 250-300km ranged Supersonic Anti Ship Ballistic missile in 2025 is not a big achievement tbh.
Easily stoppable with some good defence system in place.

Not sure. However a common BM compatible for launch from both air and sea based assets would make sense.

Nothing is "easily" stoppable, not even subsonic AShMs which are sea-skimming. IN is not the USN when it comes to the AD counter-measures in place.

Exactly in the first test you can see the missile impact in a single frame I've tried slowing the vid down but nothing, definitely something high supersonic if not hypersonic

No both SMASH and Fatah-2 are far larger than CM400AKG. The closest Chinese equivalent I could find is the M20 missile series.

The frame is smaller. In the first video it was capturing much wider area.

The range is between 350-400km.

Launched from F-22P frigate. Last test was also from F-22P. I think Zulfiqars are now getting equipped with SMASH, and Baburs will follow.

Also further reinforced my view that P-282 is indeed SMASH.

My theory still stands SMASH is for Zulfiqars.
P282 will for Jinnah class and 054AP frigates.
