SMASH SLBM Testing - Nov 2025

I brought you a solid evidence and you read it. Glad to save you from ignorance. Have a nice day

Wiki is not evidence and Even more so not solid since you ignore your own facts and avoid an answer to why this one should be a cruise missile, when it’s ancestor is clearly a ballistic Missile?

2. CM IMO does not stand for cruise missile but anyway for whatever in fact it doesn't matter! If you don't believe me, then ask others or listen to what others here already posted!
You can ignore this guy. He knows nothing about the basics, yet stubbornly insists on his incorrect views.

"CM" is the code prefix for Chinese export missile weapons, an abbreviation of "Chinese Missile." It is not the common abbreviation for "Cruise Missile."
Similar situation:
The Chinese code for the JF-17 fighter jet is "FC-1." Here, "FC" stands for "Fighter China." Other examples using this prefix include FC-20 and FC-31.

Going by your logic every missile of China should start with CM? right?

I simply wanted the opinion of @Deino

Not others. If he is not aware of that video, he can just say sorry not aware. Remember...I also used the word "purported" to show.

I have a good memory. At the time, there were ZERO instances of Indian sources claiming that to be brahmos. In addition, all the brahmos footage at the time shared by Pakistan was indeed in daylight.

It could be the brahmos.....but we know for sure Pakistan did use the CM400AKG as well at night.

Thanks.

Hello sir

This is purported to be the CM400AKG used in the recent conflict:

Have you come across this footage? Or, do you know anything about it's veracity?

"Oh teri.." is a common saying used to describe a sense of shock or amazement.

if i am not wrong, the CM-400AKG cannot be that low, coming straight like this, and with this speed... It achieves hypersonic speeds in its terminal phase (high-altitude ballistic arc i think AND it must be launched from very high-altitudes because of its high-energy trajectory, this is the reason why this mission was considered a quite dangerous one as we targeted the S-400s because our JF-17s were quite exposed during that mission because of the high-altitude launches)

one thing i would say is that it is almost a mini air-launched Iskander version, a mishmash and would likely be called a quasi‑ballistic air‑launched hypersonic (terminal) anti‑ship missile (i could be wrong since i did some research on CM-400AKG during the May war so gaps...)

Your comprehension skills are worrying...

"CM" is a common prefix for Chinese export missile systems, but it's not the only one. Furthermore, different Chinese weapons manufacturers use different designations when exporting their weapon systems.
