Some policemen misusing their powers to deprive livelihood

Whenever I join a new job or try to search a new job, some policemen maybe misusing their powers to find out where I have joined to work or where I am trying to get a new job. After finding out, the policemen maybe passing this information to my certain relatives, who use it to either harass me into quitting that job by telling lies to influence my employers and co-workers, in my absence or make the employers to dismiss me by lying in my absence. Many employers and co-workers lack a mind of their own. Many employers and co-workers have impressionable minds. They believe the lies, act according to it and thus cause problems like job loss or unpleasant environment. Even in the task of searching new jobs there would be problems, if the information provided by police is maliciously used. I may miss out on jobs that I would have got if not for such interference. Obtaining information about job location or search is not possible without the help of policemen.

How exactly can the few policemen find out the workplace location or the job search location?

Working and also searching a job involves a lot of phone usage – incoming call numbers, outgoing call numbers, missed call numbers, inbox messages phone numbers, outbox messages phone numbers, numbers to which online payments for interview fees are made, online salary deposit, etc. Even without the possession of the phone police can easily find out all this. All these pieces of information are easily available with cyber department of police, who don’t require the phone to check these data. Thus the police can easily trace the job location and also new potential employers. To Emphasise: Police don’t require the physical possession of phone to find out the numbers used to make incoming calls, outgoing calls, missed calls, messages, online payments, etc. Police can misuse other technologies to find all such data.

Due to such probable interference by police I have to be very careful in searching new jobs but without the usage of phone job-searching is extremely difficult nowadays. If somehow, I get a job without the usage of phone, subsequent work would necessitate the usage of phone.

Why would police do all this at the behest of victim’s relatives? It’s simple. Police can do all this because the victim’s relatives bribed them.

What should I do?

Collect the data/information/documents and file the PIL case against the police/government, don't name the individual, let court take action.

PS : You can shift to different state/country and disclose/explain these harassments/details to local authorities and ask for protection and submit the same to employer and explain your situation, atleast few will stand with you. Once the harasser understand they can't influence your life they will slowly worn-out.

Many people spout the bullshit that it takes court warrant/some kind of permission to do surveillance.

How can public be so ignorant?

The notions of warrant/permission are only on papers.

Public should know how police is. Corrupt and indulging in dereliction of duty. Crime prevention and/or control are the last thing on the mind of police. The only priority of police is minting money.

With impunity they can and do abuse and/or misuse their powers and secretly do surveillance of phone records and also hack mobile without informing any court.
