Starmer’s future hangs in balance after Burnham’s Makerfield election win

PMs come and go

But City bankers keep forever

Read about western politicians is wasting time, they don't decide jackshit

He knew exactly what he was saying - before being slapped down.

They don’t call him two-tier U-turn Kier for nothing.

Withholding water and food from anyone is actually a war crime.

If any Muslim did that - they would demonise our entire religion.

He should face the consequences. Not disappear with a massive check.

Idiocracy is seeping in from the US it seems. U.K. always copies America. if Reform get into government then, and I cannot believe I am saying this, thank god for the house of the lords . They will be a persistent thorn in the side of any wannabe UK Trump version. We have thick Brits who would want to elect Nigel farage and Robert Lowe as the next U.K. Government . People should be scared sh!tress of these people getting into government. It’s going to be bad.

Should be very interesting if reform. Or even worse Restore get in.

How do you send back millions of British born Asian and black people who legally are not Indian Pakistani or West Indians etc

Bro
Not just ANY lawyer - he was head of the crown prosecution services - extremely powerful role. Dont you think he didnt know what he was saying when he said - "Israel has a right to cut off water and electric to defend itself, " This was a calculated and thought out response his advisors told him to put out their. Reversed his statement 3 days later. Point was noted by a million Muslims loyal to Labour. He put in Luke Akehurst - an absolute vile racist and Zionist into a safe seat - that set the alarm bells off.
When an MP is more loyal to a foreign body like Israel - you got issues.
“I certainly think that Israel, like a lot of other countries, tries to influence American politics. I sort of take that as a given. And what I think is that American leaders have to be very careful that when we pursue something, we’re doing it for America’s best interest and not for any other country’s best interest.”

James David Vance, 50th Vice President of the United States of America.

If I said this, I would be called antisemitic.

The problem though is the other 535 between the House and Senate who are heavily under the influence of foreign interests. It's been like that for far longer than I can remember.

This guy Burnham has made an appearance out of NOWHERE. AND guess who's behind his success? Clue: 3 letter word.

He'll be PM in no time...just watch this space. Starmer, a staunch Zio, but his downfall? He refused to join America's war.
if you trying to say hes backed by Zionists thats not correct they preferred Starmer and he isnt from nowhere he was in Blair and Brown Cabinet and also in Corbyn shadow cabinet

they wont get in majority in UK is always been progressive

yara to hell with markets they protect those that dont need protections

On tax someone has to pay for health, welfare, roads police etc. I want to live in a country that cares for the poorest.

On housing I live in a house worth about a million pound I currently pay about £4200 in rates a year. under his scheme so 0.48% is only some £600 etxra per year but you say he wll get rid of stamp duty so that should push house values up a bit

5p on income tax is not a killer on 100K salary i think will be 2-3k a year more

getting rid of inheritance tax is great as only raises about 6 billion and those that have hundreds of millions can set up trusts and avoid so only people who get caught in trap and have to pay are those that have estates say under 20-30 million.

My youngest son had strep A a few years back and thanks to god he completely recovered but needed an emergency brain operation in 2022. On 25th Dec 2022 xmas day I wil never forget that day 3 teams of doctors (20 docs in total no Indians but 2 chinese 1 Pakistani and many white English) operated on him operations lasting from 11.30am to 10pm, He was paralysed and like a vegetable and stayed n hospital for 3 months, No one ever asked me for a penny, And today he is completely recovered and in one of the top 2 state schools in the country (selective)

I want the servise my son got for everyone.

We have to pay into system for this, So If Burnham says we need a bit more so be it i can live with that. I already pay hundreds of thousands in tax but am reconciled that if i want to live in a place that looks after all we all that can afford it have to pay for it

The country should be run for the benefit of its people not for bund markets

Bro we can't ignore the markets, they're essential to the functioning of the economy, and they don't like Andy.
Yes someone has to pay that tax, but how many actually do pay? At this point in time 46.7% of the nation are net contributors and the rest recipients. That is unsustainable.
Getting rid of stamp duty helps first time buyers, how about the rest of us? Raising values gives an artificial wealth effect, but that doesn't translate to the majority being better off.
Inheritance tax I agree with your points.
Taking a figure of £100,000 is not reflective of the higher rate tax payers. Of the over 7 million UK adults (roughly 14% of the population) currently pay the higher rate of income tax. Around 20% of all taxpayers hover at or just above the £50,270 threshold due to 'fiscal drag' from frozen thresholds, implemented by the present government. That hurts those who strive and have worked up the ladder in their careers. You need to get many people who are at home, not working, working. This adds much needed tax revenue.
Mashallah your son has made a wonderful recovery and I respect your wish that the public services improves, and yes more money should be channelled in. But one of the problems is massive excess demand due to a bloated population. What are they doing about this?
The country under is not being run for the people, they're still interested in pleasing others. If you want to be Labour then go for it, how about full nationalisation of our utilities, why on earth are our utilities in the hands of foreign owners who siphon off profits with little investment, or on the case of European firms e.g. EDF, EON, which subsidise French and German citizens!

I’m sorry brother no general election at this time for Gods sake. We don’t need one.

He needs to stick to the maninfesto they were elected on. The population dosn't want musical chairs of the PM's seat like the idiot conservatives did.
If he choose to tax and tax, and hand over more benefits there will be major rebellion.

This would be a logistical nightmare for the Home Office to achieve pal. I mean, one thing you have to say about the right wing nationalist: their ideas are short term. Because... when all the non-whites are deported, imprisoned or unalived, and NOTHING is improved for the average person because the actual issue hasn't been dealt with in any way and in most respects has been made worse, people tend to either lynch them, or they have to unalive themselves in their bunkers ahead of said lynching. It's a fairly destructive way to commit suicide, but right wing "thought leaders" still seem to want to do it. The uneducated English people have fallen for these grifters and charlatan. Likes of Nigel Farage and white nationalist (Rupert Lowe
Of the Restore party = BNP)

Like Starmer, Burnham has refused to accuse Israel of “genocide.” Asked about the issue in an interview with The Guardian earlier this month, he said: “I can’t judge things on such a scale from where I am as mayor of Greater Manchester. But I am concerned about the disproportionate nature of what happened in terms of destruction, and there must be a full process of investigation and accountability.”

For the far left, such cautious criticism is not enough. MP Zarah Sultana, who defected from Labour, attacked him over his record, saying: “He joined Labour Friends of Israel, opposed BDS and described the boycott movement as ‘vindictive,’ praised Israel as a ‘democracy’ and described the Balfour Declaration as ‘British values in action.’ He is a Zionist.”

Although to be fair he is much better than Stammer.

Yeah, whats more, in London, £100k salary does not even make you "Comfortable", yet you are paying 45% at the upper end. No wonder the younger generation feel so hopeless. Thankfully in our culture we ensure Children have property passed on or at very least deposit for house is paid for, but now that is out of reach for many. Luckily also our children tend to go into law, medicine or whatever but even first 10 years there is no mega salary.

When my father arrived in this country he bought a house for £15,000 in London. His salary was £12,000. Compare that to an average starting salary in London of around £35k and average house price of around £500k.

So now on top of house prices, cost of living and insane tax, if you really want to look after your family you will have private education and private health. Basically a stealth tax for higher earners.

Only so much people can cope with this, am looking to retire to Italy or Spain.
