A politician named after Adolf Hitler is set to win reelection in Namibia this week.

Adolf Hitler Uunona insists that he has no interest in world domination or genocide and his father was unaware of the German dictator’s actions when he named him.

Uunona was first elected in 2020, when he received 85% of the vote in the Ompundja constituency.
