There was a guy at the cafe looking incredibly sharp, wearing a crisp dress shirt, with his laptop completely covered in tech startup stickers. He intentionally spoke very loudly on his phone so the entire cafe could hear: "Yeah, hello? Please reschedule the meeting with the London investors! I’m currently busy analyzing the global market trend data for this quarter!"
While talking like a big boss, he elegantly grabbed his hot coffee cup without looking and took a huge, confident gulp to look tough.
The next exact second, he instantly stood up, his eyes bulging, and his face turning beet red because he just scalded his tongue. To make matters worse, in his pure panic, he accidentally moved his phone away from his ear while it was still active, and the entire cafe could hear the automated operator voice blaring from his speaker: "Your remaining balance is insufficient to make this call. Please recharge..." He immediately slammed his laptop shut, packed his things at lightning speed, and ran out of the cafe while holding his tongue.

This morning on a dead-silent commuter train, there was a corporate woman looking incredibly elegant, wearing expensive headphones with active noise-canceling features. She sat there with her eyes closed peacefully, clearly deeply moved by what seemed to be a classical opera or a very emotional ballad.
She was so lost in the music that she started singing along in a voice that—in her own head—probably sounded soft, angelic, and beautiful.
The problem was, because her ears were completely sealed off, she had no idea her actual voice was coming out at maximum volume and piercingly high-pitched: "YOU CAME LIKE A GOBLIN, AND LEFT WITHOUT SAYING GOODBYEEE!!" completely out of tune. Every single passenger on the train instantly froze and stared at her in absolute shock. The climax was when she hit a dramatic high note while dramatically thumping her own chest, causing an old man sitting across from her to jump and scream in pure terror. When she finally opened her eyes and saw everyone filming her, she instantly pretended to pass out while keeping her headphones firmly on.
