So for past couple of weeks I've been looking and researching RV campers, not the big ones but small 2-3 sleepers ones. I picked a couple of them i.e Coleman 13B/R's that offers a bed, Bathroom, small kitchen area and plenty of storage, but its dry weight is 2500+/- lbs, and upon searching I found out that my Hyundai Tucson 2022 can only tow up to 2000lbs with proper stuff installed, right now my car doesn't have anything install in it. So I started looking to replace my car, now I love Toyota highlander but its very expensive, and will be hard on my budget, so i came across this Audii Q7 Quattro and its listed towing capacity is 4400lbs which is pretty good for a mid-size SUV, but I don't have any experience with Audii cars, I did some reddit search and people has said some very good reviews about this SUV and its power. I thought about getting some Truck like Ford 150, or Toyota Tacoma or Silvardo but this Audii seems very good when it comes to provide luxury, options, towing capacity, price is decent, and I find plenty with low mileage in the market near me.

does anyone of you ever own a RV camper ? or Audii Q7 Quattro ? Will it be a good investment to get a RV camper for road trips? cause I plan on hitting the road next year to explore Mid-west and West Coast of USA.

I used to have a sq8 - great package and the sq7 was no different in both leaving mustangs back off the line and still being able to haul things. But then the q7 is pretty dependable if you can lease it. I would not suggest owning any of these unless you are prepared for a couple of hundred on and off.

If you want to tow - find a 2014-16 LX570 - and you have a bulletproof cruiser for another 120000k miles.

Thanks, i will check her videos... but right now my main concern is to get a car that can at least tow 3000-3500lbs, given my Car can only get to 2000lbs, almost every rv camper that is under 2000lbs doesn't have a bathroom, i would really want a bathroom on camper.

LX570 Lexus ? that's way over my budget, I don't think if i can get even with a reasonable trade off, don't get wrong i love Lexus and still miss my nx200t 2015 which was amazing SUV, but from the looks of it LX570 is too expensive. Can you suggest any under lets say 25k ? I would prefer low mileage, i saw a couple of highlanders under 100k with reasonable price tag.

Wish I could help you my friend but I have no experience with either.. I'm hopeful you'll get productive help.

I used to be an Audi owner, but later I switched to a Huawei new energy vehicle. Let me share my experience. If you plan to sleep in the car and cook meals during your travels, I recommend buying a new energy vehicle. It can provide power for camping, and you can bring a barbecue grill and a camping tent.
Having power while camping can allow you to do many things.

No, living in car creeps me out, hence i am looking for campers. So i am just looking for a car mostly SUV which can tow upto 3000-4000lbs capacity.

If it's just towing, I think you need an SUV or pickup with a frame. I used to be fascinated by the Land Rover Discovery 4, but I was only focused on off-roading at the time. Sorry, I haven't looked into towing an RV.

Get yourself a short bus and convert it.....

Sprinter, or Transit vans are popular.

Seeing more people each year going this route.

They park at truck stops, get a shower, sleep some, and off they go on another adventure.

HS buddy of mine did the same in the mid-70s. It was decked out nice. He did an outstanding job.

@Oscar 's recommendation is solid.

If you're looking at something in the Coleman class then you do not need an F-150 or similar. A Tacoma / Ranger / Colorado / Canyon will suffice. Being I own an F-150 as well as two Tacomas, for what you are looking at, I'd lean toward the Tacoma.

Look for one with the V-6 engine. That means model year 2023 or older. Toyota phased in out in model year 2024 for the turbocharged inline-4. There have been a lot of reports of turbo failures with that engine.

If you look for the Tacoma V-6, focus on the Pre-Runner model in 2WD. Depending on how equipped, it will be able to tow up to 6800lbs. Be sure to check if it is equipped with the towing package.

Nah bro, Van's creep me out as well, plus i can't sleep in the car, not after that whole Spider in my car Saga. At least with RV campers they are sealed off lol

My ex-brother in law used to have a 2016 Tacoma, I think it was a 2WD. But as a true Red neck country boy he spend most of his weekend either cleaning that Truck or buying something for the truck lol
Never thought I would buy a truck, but its something i have to look into if i want a RV, Oscar is right about Lexus but a LX570 is crazy expensive, even the ones that already has 100k miles on it.

so far i narrow it down to Hyundai Santa Fe, Santa Cruze, Toyota RAV 4, Ford Explorer , Audii Q7, in Trucks I got Ford F-150, Tacoma and Silvardo. Doing a little bit more search for a reasonable price/mileage.
