I'm making a distinction between groups and their various methodologies and outlooks and actions.

Talibs are more a pashtun movement confined to Afghanistan, whereas the other two groups are global.

But both are ideologically similar,that's a big problem. And Taliban want to expand into Afghanistan,although they won't officially admit it of course.

Because it was Al Jazira that had reported Netanyahu having said that while if you actually watch his speech, he said that the greatest danger to Israel was Iran and Hezbollah and the overthrow of Assad weakened them both.

They are not allowed to enter Syria on an Israeli passport. If they entered, they entered on a different passport, but they are also able to do that in Lebanon where they show their French or American passports and have no issue, when visiting Beirut.

Passport control also isn't all that streamlined as of yet, many people are able to enter via Lebanon, Iraq that aren't dejure allowed in the country. Namely the Hezbollah Drug Dealers or the PKK elements via the Iraqi border.

I don't think a high profile Israeli journalist can enter Lebanon this easily. That American-Israeli spy entered Iraq and was captured by the PMU / Iran (still held to this day). Not sure why this Israeli journalist doesn't get the same treatment in HTS-run Syria.

They are very much prevalent around Beirut, especially East Beirut. Especially American and French Passport holders. Infact most of the foreigners entering Syria are entering from Lebanon itself, in all likelihood these people came via Lebanon.

With regards to Iraq their prevalence in Erbil is well known.

Erbil is true but that is a semi autonomous Kurdish region with strong ties to the US, just like the current central government in Lebanon
