A research paper builds its case from use of multiple sources that can be independently checked for required information unlike Twitter narratives. Syria served as the gateway for movement of militants from Syria to Iraq for many years and this fact is acknowledged in Iraqi circles. Assad setup was fully aware of this development and allowed it.

Some Islamic countries play a negative role in the affairs of other Islamic countries instead of acting responsibly in times of crisis. This needs to change. If there is a need for intervention in another country, it should be for a just cause. If you play with fire, there is the possibility of burning yourself in the process. “Research” papers (propaganda pieces) by biased sources have no credibility. By the way, I did not rely on any twitter posts, but there is an abundance of literature, unbiased sources that confirm what I have said. But you haven’t provided any of that.

Whereas, there is an abundance of evidence out in the open that financial, material, medical, ideological and political support was provided to Salafi Jihadis like AQ, HTS, ISIS by the US and its partners in the region (Israel, Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia) to overthrow the Assad regime. How did you make the determination that they "allowed it"? These are words coming out of Western think tanks, with no evidence to back it up.

Assad's Syria was being attacked by the US and its partners (Israel, Turkey, KSA, Qatar); and they did not have control of significant swathes of their country.

Assad Army was not equipped to take on most challenges to their country (challenges created by the US and its partners); and had to rely on Russian, Iranian and Hezbollah's help to regain control of the country.

They tried the same in Russia and China but the states took strict actions to finish them off. Some players fund them, some give training and weaponary, some literature and fatwas, some pretend to spread peace but in reality promote the same ideology, The Muslim states are unable to take strict action due to their handlers pressure, the muslim states take loan from the handlers etc.

Iraqi official documents prove that Mr. Ahmed Muzaffar Hussein Al -Shara was arrested in Nineveh in 2006 by the American forces,
He remained in Iraqi prisons until 2011,
Then he was released by a clear judicial decision because there was no evidence against him..

He then moved directly to Syria.

How can he be accused of killing the Iraqis and "Shiites" at a stage where he was detained behind bars?

These allegations have sectarian motives, and express anger at his role in leading the Syrian revolution.

That project, which wanted to transform Iraq, Syria and Lebanon into platforms messing around with civil peace and security in our countries, and the security of the entire countries of the region.
