Syrian Civil War and The future of Syria after liberation

3 faction actually, one is led by Sheikh Wahid al-Balous's son, Laith al-Balous. Wahid al-Balous was killed by Assad after he declared support for the revolution. So he has a personal reason for backing the new govt.

Then there is Hammoud al-Hinnawi's faction, these guys were neutral around Assad's time/not opposed to Assad, and they are neutral/ok with the govt now. But generally now he is ok with the govt, just as he was ok with the previous govt, his main thing is staying out of the side vs side.

Then there is Hikmat Al Hijri's faction, they were Completely aligned with Assad, fighting in his army, and they were the ones running the Captagon drug trade, smuggling captagon into Jordan. After the Assad Govt fell, these guys along with the rest of the SAA remnants gathered and created the "Suwaida Military Council" and one of the reasons why they want to "keep their autonomy" and no govt forces in Suwaida, is b/c they want a free hand in the Captagon market, and don't want to shut it down, b/c its lucrative. These are the guys that went and aligned with Israel after Assad fell. This faction is the one responsible for all the drama.

Great information and this is why Syrians need to eradicate them. They killed hundreds of thousands under Assad regime. Iran supported the same group with arms, training and manpower. Iran needs to apologise to Muslim world for its heinous role in the murder and displacement of millions of Syrians.

Who killed hundreds of thousands? The Druze?

Why ? The civil war was funded heavily by West and GCC. Go blame them for all the death and destruction.

Once you are done with that you might notice that Turkey and Israel occupy Syria.

Assadists including Druze, Hezbollah and Alawite. Iran and Russia supported.
How many thousands did the countless of armed groups kill? All those hordes of radicals who went to Syria from all over the world and joined the traitors, the Muslim Brotherhood conspirators and sidelined any moderate opposition of frustrated civilians and soldiers?

No one killed more civilians than the SAA and their friends sent by Iran.

Question: When takfiris hide among civilians and launch attacks from densely populated areas, who's to blame? The attacker or the one who responds to the attacks?

Edit: The above map looks complete bullshit. HTS "549"? Turkestan takfiris only "4"? Black caliphate just 5,058? Get outta here. This is textbook propaganda.

Zionist logic my beep. When they actually do it,it's called reality. Even the Ukrainians were firing artillery from school grounds.

So what do you do? Do you fire back? Do you ask them politely to step outside? Do you give up and let them have a city or town?

To be fair Hezbollah Iran and Russia after they got involved in the conflict for better or worse actually prevented many innocent killings of civilians I think people tend to forget that they concentrated their attacks on Isis Al qaeda and anti Assad forces and basically put Assads forces back to main cities or under their command again I think Iran could have helped Assad see the light show yeah they could save him today but for how long and better for his legacy as one who brought his country to to the forefront of Arab society instead of what we have today

Compare what the Assad forces did to Aleppo and compare how Turkey took Afrin or Tal Abyad or Tal Rifaat or Manbij. they dropped barrel bombs into dense neighborhoods, leveling everything.

Sorry but those numbers are real.

Totally agree Assads forces were a bunch of animals but honestly the guys in power Syria today committed many crimes as well so no one is really clean accept civilians that were caught in the crosshairs of either side I can’t really defend either except the peaceful protesters than those who took arms in the beginning to fight oppression the only thing I agree is bashar shiukd have stepped down gracefully this whole mess could have been avoided

You gotta be kidding me.. It was one of the biggest wars in the 21st. They came with everything and there was no love lost and you can still see with the axis

This was the choice the Syrians made themselves in 2011.

It was the greatest choice the Syrians have ever made. For the first time in 40 years there is no sanctions on Syria and flowing with money. Good riddance to ASSAD
