Syrian Civil War and The future of Syria after liberation

At this stage of israeli madness they might as well bomb the chinese and russian embassies and just declare war on the world

There is a madness, that will have its inevitable conclusion. Israel's plans of domination and control of all the land and people between India and itself have failed.

Benjamin promised to remake the region, and now it seems like the region will remake it, these acts of aggression are the Dying embers of a failed strategic play, that has cost them almost everything, including their long term hold over the USA itself.

Israel will lash out in frustration and there will be some time before it all comes to pass, but they are now on the strategic down turn.

(imho).

Yes they seem to be drowning and grasping at straws trying to reverse their decline. Losing america will be devastating for israel that's probably why they are milking it for all its worth before democrats get into power.

Trump threatened Iraq with sanctions if they do not attack pmf. I am sure he gave Syria the same message about hezbollah but we will see what Syria does. I obviously dont take sides in this Syrian mess, it means nothing to me.

Someone external to you is not the same thing as someone internal. Why would Syria be sanctioned for not attacking another country. The Iraqis are uniquely cucked, They sell their oil in dollars, the oil revenue goes to the US treasury, and then the US gives Iraq their money as an allowance, this is how it was set up after the invasion, and they have never changed it.

What did they hit, and were Turks hurt ? Was this the target that Israel wanted to strike, that Trump declined and now Israel has basically ignored Trump ?

Turks can return the favour here if any Turks were hurt.

"Axios" quoting an Israeli official: The attack on a base affiliated with the Syrian Air Force in the Idlib region "aimed to prevent the entrenchment of a Turkish military presence there"- "Axios" quoting a senior Turkish official: There was no Turkish presence at all in the Syrian airbase that was bombed, and Israel is fabricating pretexts to strike neighboring countries and undermine stability in the region.

US envoy Thomas Barrack considers the Israeli raids on Abu al-Duhur air base in Idlib an “unnecessary escalation” that does not serve regional stability.

🗣️ Barak: The government of Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa did not adopt an aggressive stance towards Israel, and did not maintain forces for proxy fighting.

🤝 Barak confirms that Washington will continue to host talks to encourage the diplomatic path and reduce escalation.

📢 The Syrian Foreign Ministry condemns the raids and considers them “unjustified aggression” and a violation of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
