If Bashar is sensible he should make a deal, hand over power to interim government. The Saudis, UAE, Egypt and Jordan will not accept Turk supported MB government so we will face more fighting afterwards.

But it is supported by Muslim brotherhood, we will witness MB trying take control as usual, and Turkey is it's biggest backer aswell as Qatar. The issue I see is Saudia UAE Jordan and Egypt will not accept it, so HTS and SNA may fight it for the crown, the Usa backed Kurds are another big player, they want their own Kurdish state.

Nonsense. I am pretty sure that the starving people of Gaza would love to have Egypt take control of the area if it means they will have a home and food. You harping about the Palestinian cause from the safety of your home in the West is pure nonsense and meaningless.

Gaza should’ve stayed with Egypt. If being a part of the Palestinian cause was so important, why did Egypt rule Gaza until it was taken away in 1967? Gaza is a tiny dot and leaving it with Israel condemned the people there to a horrific fate especially when it is isolated from Egypt. It should’ve always been egypts responsibility.

This is what I’m talking about when I say that the Arab world is always standing on some bullshit soap box when literally all of its rulers are two faced scum who are slyly helping Israel or working against the Palestinians who they claim to love. Truly useless in every way.

Syria assumed that the peace agreements would hold and that they could focus on the economic issues they are facing. That is why Syria disbanded. That has been proven to be a bad decision as both Israel and Turkey have been working together to put this offensive together to destablise Syria.

Morale for Syria is donot trust Turkey ... Putin was very clear a few days ago when he said that Turkey had betray a number of agreements and understandings when it launched this operation.

Turkey has the element of suprise on her side for now. Syria and Russia need to stop the lines advancing asap, then they can focus on recovering lost terrority and put in place plans like the occupation of Idlib so that Turkey can never be allowed to pull this kind of stunt again ...

Personally I think Russia is too exhausted and Iran too depleted to make a serious fight of it. Right not they’ll be looking to salvage something, even if it means a truncated state- without Assad.
