A convoy from the Central Military Administration with Southern Operations has been in the process of collecting all weapons from the groups deployed in Daraa since the morning. Clashes are currently taking place in the village of Umm Walad in the eastern countryside of Daraa with the Abu Ali al-Laham group to hand over weapons and dissolve the group. The campaign also included several other areas to prevent the presence of any A weapon or group outside the unified administration..

Israel confiscates Syrian tanks and weapons along buffer zone​

The Israeli military said it has confiscated several Syrian tanks along the buffer zone that separates the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights from the rest of Syria.

“The 474th Brigade Combat Team continues activities in key positions within the area of separation, targeting threats and terrorist sites along the border. During searches, they confiscated several out-of-use Syrian tanks,” the Israel Defense Forces said.

Israeli troops also said they located a Syrian observation post in the Mount Hermon region within the buffer zone and seized a cache of weapons including missiles, explosives and other equipment.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the military seize the buffer zone and other positions near it. Israel insists it is conducting “defensive missions” and eliminating threats to its citizens in the area.

The Israeli military has also engaged in a concerted effort to destroy Syrian military assets, striking air bases, ports, and weapons stockpiles across the country. As of Tuesday, it had conducted about 480 strikes in total, it said in a statement.

I hope the new Syrian government systematically capture, imprison and put all Assadists on trial who were directly involved in massacre of Sunnis. Whole Latakia needs to be searched thoroughly to find such people.

Forgiveness is good but some crimes are unforgivable and the punishment is the only way to achieve law and order.

it's just a matter of time before Iraq rises again. While the country still looks dysfunctional, it has made impressive strides since the end of the war and it seems it's working well as a federal state with almost equal rights to all.Iraq is already becoming prosperous, they're building lots of stuff and their GDP is going up rapidly. Compare that to Syria is night and day difference.

I was astonished when heard that they can not sell one 1l of oil before they ask americans. Enough reason to stop pointing fingers on others.
