“Israel is the biggest loser from the fall of Bashar”
The Turkish Foreign Minister in an interview on Al-Hadath TV:
It is not only Iran that lost in Syria, but Israel was the biggest loser.
Six years ago, before Biden was in power, he came on a visit to Turkey, and during his conversation with us, he categorically rejected Assad’s departure.
In fact, this is not his position, but rather it expresses the position of the Israelis
It is true that Israel was angry with Assad because of Iran
But Assad was playing realpolitik with Israel and Israel never wanted him to leave
Because Assad derives his legitimacy not from his people, but from the forces that support him
This explains Israel's terror of the new government
Because it expresses the will of the Syrian people
In fact, Israel's fears are unjustified because the new government is in Syria
You took over a devastated country and the first thing you will do is provide services to millions of Syrians
This means that there should not be a new war in Syria
The new government should not enter into war with any other country.
As for the SDF organization, it will be expelled from the Arab lands it occupied in northeastern Syria
