The Siper is close, but the S-400 is still more capable atleast until the SIPER Block 3 and Block 4 are ready where they work in longer ranges/engagement windows and provide Anti Ballistic capability like the S-400s. the S-400s are probably the most advanced or one of the most advanced Air Defense systems in the World.

Though the complicated element isn't that Turkey doesn't have a replacement as much as contractual obligations that require Russian permission to transfer S-400s from Turkey to another country.

It is the contracts I was insinuating and the right to transfer the system..Russia didn't even agree to give it to Bashar..it had its own crews manning the system..and never shot at Israeli warplanes attacking Syria..it was strictly there to protect the Russian bases..a tacit agreement with Israel..

I think Israel is bombing any place where there is a possibility of a Turkish base. Israel is very uncomfortable with Turkey building a base in Syria.

They are very afraid of Turkey. Turkey will become a major threat to Israel if it protects Syria. Iran-Assad was not a threat to Israel. The reason for Israel's extremely aggressive and cowardly behavior is Turkey's entry into Syria.

I think this where I said call Israel’s bluff send in 10s of thousands of soldiers in the guise of peacekeeping slash humanitarian force to help stabilize Syria by bringing in whatever is needed if Israel bombs Turkish forces even if by accident let’s see what the two most powerful countries on the block can do to each other ones worn out the other is supposedly a beast on paper let’s see what will happen

lets see if turkey can bring in serious equipment and defend their new protectorate

so far Israel is telling turkey not to even try and turkey understands the message
 
This was my point, a lot of people emotions running amok here. The Israelis are enemies of everyone in the area. With Turkey stepping in, the Israelis are panicking. They could easily take care of the Iranians but the Turks are a different ballgame backed by Pakistan and Qatar. Iranians do not have a strong back unlike Turkey which has access to more modern conventional military and weapons. Now the fun begins. The Iranians and their cheerleaders need to offer passive support to the Turkish brothers and help the Israelis by doing anything anti Sunni or HTS

Well if this is legit honestly about time but unless turkey backs them up this going nowhere if they cause some casualties that make the Israelis second guess themselves might workout but Israel will control their skies easily unless turkey sends their Air Force into the sky

seems like it was Syrian residents who fought back rather than HTS terrorists

but it's a developing story so we have to wait and see

I predict turkey will continue to talk and squawk but do absolutely nothing except continue to send Azerbaijani oil to Israel
