Reuters: The United States gives the green light to Syria to join the former foreigners to the army.


The American Special Envoy to #Syria: We gave us our approval of a plan to integrate thousands of qiya softening the former foreigners within the Syrian National Army with the condition that this takes place with transparency.

Officials in the Syrian Ministry of Defense: The plan provides for the joining of about 3,500 foreign hill seits, most of whom are from the Uighur coming from #China and neighboring countries to a new unit called the 84th Division in the Syrian Army, which will also include Syrians.

The American Special Envoy to Syria: There is an understanding on this issue, on the condition of transparency, and it is better to keep these fighters and many of them are loyal to the new Syrian administration within the state project instead of excluding them.

Two sources close to the Syrian Ministry of Defense: Al -Shara and its close circle were arguing their western conversations that the merging of foreign fighters into the army posed a security threat less than abandoning them, which could lead them to join Al Qaeda or the Islamic State.

A Syrian official and foreign diplomat: The purpose of the Uighurs coming from China and Central Asia, members of the Turkish -classified Islamic Party, is an organization that is based on #Beijing and China has sought to restrict the influence of this group in Syria.

A spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs: We hope that Syria will oppose all forms of Hap and extremist forces in response to the fears of the international community.

Othman Bagra, a political official in the Islamic Islamic Party in a written statement to Reuters: The group was officially resolved and integrated into the Syrian army. At the present time, the group operates entirely under the authority of the Ministry of Defense and is committed to national policy and does not maintain any connections with external parties or groups.

But I will answer without deflecting like you do even though it is off topic here. In my opinion, Hezbollah under Nasrallah bravely chose to resist and suffered the consequences but lost the war very badly and a new leader had little choice but to choose the second path to avoid active military resistance for now and hope Israel will leave them alone to rebuild something from the ruins. This is not comparable to Jolani who chooses to not resist at all.

And you were too defensive. I was not criticising those who choose the second option. It can make sense in some scenarios, such as when a group is very weak and needs time to rebuild (Hezbollah or even HTS). But Hezbollah was subdued by force, HTS subdued voluntarily.
