INT'L MOD
Sorry but wahabi and salafi are very different from Sunni.
yeah they aren't, but they get used as proxy prerogative term for Sunnis.
Someone can play the same cute game and use prerogative terms like Sabai, or Batini or Rafidi or Tashayyu ghali or Ghulati there are plenty of terms for fringe/extreme movements amongst the Shia. But then give the person plausible deniability, "See I didn't say Shia or all Shias" "I only meant this specific group".
You know how many times its been used prerogatively against me? And I don't even subscribe to the Najdi dawah, I'm Hanafi, and I've clarified that on several occasions. That just makes it clear its getting used as a proxy term. And most of the time, its not even in a theological discussion, just prerogatively used for anyone supportive of the Syrian govt or opposed to some of Iran's policies in the region.
