Syrian Civil War and The future of Syria after liberation

You can have beards in many armies, infact Turkey is unique in having the regulations of beards in the region.

With regards to songs, there have been plenty of songs or statements that were incorrect by clean shaven soldiers, thats in every army, of course it not good, but its not out of the ordinary.

Idk why would are allergic to beards the IRGC has beards, and all of Iran's ruling apparatus has beards. There is no issue with aesthetics here.
You know that beards differ. A rock star could have a beard, but there is also the salafist beard without moustache, this is clearly connected to salafist believes, hence the songs attached to it.

Those beards are totally different than lets say that of our Navy Sunni commander of Iranian navy (Shahram Irani).

Your answer was not really clear but thanks for reacting anyways.

Brother, just b/c you aren't familiar with something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. If you would like to see the term open up Kitab al tawhid, where MIAW himself refers to him and his followers as al Muwahhidun. If you don't want to do that, you can look at the term on wikipedia.

This isn't "straws" this is having basic knowledge of the Najdi Dawah manhaj and history.

by the 18th century.. i have not seen these now

It is not only the salafis that shave the moustache pretty much all sunnah and even some shia it is not exclusive to anyone

What I hate about Iranian political views is that it is narrow minded and the world is very small and everything is about Tel Aviv and nothing else all your talking points circle back to that and sometimes is annoying.

We are currently living in a era where the US has the world hegemony supported by it´s European vassal states this is the reality we live in but you guys ignore that.

The Americans won WW2 and set a world order from there on and beat soviet union in the cold war
We are currently living in a era where the US hegemony is showing its maximum power, maximum savagery and its decline (after its peak).

We need a new one, which must be more fair. Iran, China and some other nations have been outspoken in this regard. Many other nations were just happy and ok (and supported the dominant US-hegemony).

Some fear US because they're connected to the global arrogance (US hegemony).

At the end of the day its aesthetics. there are shias who trim their mustaches, and there are people like Ibn Uthaymeen and Fawzan who have mustaches. This is a silly boogeyman type of thing.

China is a big threat to US hegemony era currently. It is building itself up to take the reins in the next world order and nobody can keep up with them and they are not miscalculates and they will tell you we are not hegemonic like the us etc etc but that is not true if China was to win WW3.

They can pretty much colonize everywhere and rest assured they will do that example Australia, the Americas etc etc who can´t say anything to CHINA at that point it would face zero chellenges if it wins WW3 and the world would be powerless against them meaning they can topple whomever they want, take resources as they see fit and cease lands as they wish. POWER is the true authority they will not try to please anyone or ask permission from anyone.

They build a giant hospital in 24 hours that type of industrial power is very dangerous and admirable at the same time and nobody can keep up with them in the long run they will outpace everybody and time is on their side

Yes, b/c as I mentioned they latched on to a different terms after the 1st wave. After Rashid Rida popularized the term Salafi, the najdi dawah also adopted it.

I don't use it as a proxy for Sunni and neither does anybody else I know. Why would they ? Wahhabi and Salafi mouthbreathers have shed as much Sunni blood as they have shed Shia blood. They only people they never attack are Jews.
Except it is a proxy for all Sunnis. Salafi has taken on a negative political term recently even though it literally means follower of the Ahl-AlSalaf, ie the rightly guided companions of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Most if not all Sunnis would identify themselves as that but it wont denote anything specific about the school or thought they follow or 'mathhab' just that they look up to and respect the best generation of Muslims (the companions) and try to follow their example.

When non-Sunnis, hell even westerners, use that term as a dog whistle pejorative, we see it as a direct attack on Sunnis in general, since most of us would also identify with such a broad term, just like the term Sunni, they are synonymous. Make sure you understand that even if you think you are referring to a specific group of people, it wont be taken and assumed as such.

they never attack are Jews.

Nobody has killed more from them then the Salaf.

Majority of these fighting in Gaza are Salaf...

Nobody has spread Islam to every corner of the world outside of the Salaf. You see all these many muslim countries it is because of the Salaf that is the work they put in yesterday and they held even more then double of current lands.

They were the only people who colonized more then half of Europe..

During the expansionist era these were the best of people. They would use whole economies to just expand and alot of manpower despite having already large lands but they would never stop but just kept going and going. The decay only started after this hunger stopped and the offensive stopped and then it was 2-3 centuries of decay without change until 100 years ago the Caliphate fell but the slow decay started before that.

My favorite way to debunk them claiming they don't mean Sunnis but "Wahabis" or "Salafis" is to ask them to tell the difference between an Orthodox Sunni like say Taqi Usmani, or Qaradawi, or Tahir Ul Qadri or Umar Bin Hafiz or Abdullah Bin Bayyah and a "Salafi"/"Wahabi", and usually they won't be able to, b.c they themselves don't understand the terminology they are using. They just think, oh "Salafis are strict", and "Regular sunnis are more lax", but thats a comical differentiation. Thats like saying the difference between Protestants and Catholics is that Catholics are lax and Protestants are strict.

Assads army soldiers/fighters were majority Sunnis. Many Syrian Sunnis have a moderate understanding of Islam and are not waiting for some radicals from central asia to decide their faith and future.

I can give you a related and historical case, when Afghan Sunnis (part of mujahedin in that time) captured some foreign salafists with beards, after the defeat of taliban, they pulled their bears by force.

In these cases, the cause was not religiously motivated.
Lol are you actually serious? This is why it pisses me off when foreigners talk about Syria like they know whats really happening. There are numerous, countless videos of Syrian civilians captured and being tortured by Assad criminals on camera forcing Sunni Muslims to curse Muhammad and Allah out loud and declare Assad is their god. How is that not sectarian? The entire Assad regime was sectarian, just because he forcibly conscripted Sunnis by threatening harm to them and their families if they don't obey, and forced them to massacre their own neighbours doesn't make it any less sectarian. All the key power positions like in the intelligence agencies and most elite units and commanders were primarily sectarian. The continuous gaslighting by Iranian partisans for their butcher is unbelievable..

Israel bombs Syria’s Druze city of Suwayda hours after ceasefire

The Israeli bombings come after the Syrian government and a Druze leader both said the truce had been broken.

Israeli forces have launched air strikes on Suwayda in southern Syria, as fighting returned to the predominantly Druze city hours after the Syrian government declared a ceasefire.

The Syrian Ministry of Interior said in a statement on Tuesday that armed groups had resumed attacks on Syrian government forces with support from the Israeli Air Force.

Syria condemned Israel’s intervention as a violation of international law, while influential Druze Sheikh Hikmat al-Hajri said in a statement that it was Syrian government troops who breached a truce announced earlier in the day.

The Israeli air attacks came after Hikmat al-Hajri urged local fighters to confront what he described as a barbaric attack from government forces.

Israel has claimed its attacks on the southern Syrian region bordering Israel are meant to protect the Druze minority, which it sees as potential allies.

In a statement shared on social media, Israeli Minister of Diaspora Affairs Amichai Chikli said that Israel could not “stand idly by” as the Druze engaged in fighting.

“We see massacres and insults against the Druze, and we must fight against the terrorism regime in Syria,” Chikli said, claiming it was a “grave mistake” to acknowledge Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa as the “legitimate leader” of the country.

Fighting between Bedouin tribes and local Druze fighters has reportedly killed more than 30 people and injured more than 100 since Sunday in Suwayda. Bedouin and Druze armed factions have a longstanding feud in Suwayda, with violence occasionally erupting.

United States envoy to Syria Tom Barrack said Washington was in contact with all sides “to navigate towards calm and integration”.

Al Jazeera’s Osama Bin Javaid reporting from Damascus said that the situation in Suwayda has “further escalated, with multiple Israeli drone and air strikes they claim are in support of Druze fighters”.

The big guns have entered Suwayda everywhere is a hunting place for Hijri. They are now in the desert areas east of the City some small villages the hunt down is on

I love this dude.. May Allah grant him Jannah, he is the best of the best in putting fear into peoples hearts. He is an expert in the propaganda spread of fear amongst the foes.

You should have seen his videos during the storm in Nov-dec iconic stuff

Majority of these fighting in Gaza are Salaf...

I don't think Hamas identifies with a particular manhaj. From what I have seen the Madkhalis hate them, as does Daesh. Calling them "ahl ul bidah" or whatever.

For what its worth, the people of Falastin are usually Manstream Hanafis and Shafi Asharis, not those that identify with the najdi dawah usually. You will see a lot of videos coming out of Gaza of them doing Salawat in groups, among other things.

I did, that was my 2nd post on here after I registered. I tagged the mods too but it was in the Israel-Iran thread, none of them replied back to me. Ima try again and hope to get an updated flag.

Mods can you please change the current flag showing for Syria to the new one:
