Russia can spin on our middle finger. A Taliban supporter is what Russia is like their partner India. Every effort will be made to undermine any country that partners with the Taliban to arm it against Pakistan.

Russia may have past grievances as Pakistan actively opposed Soviet presence in Afghanistan. Now Russia is also trying to please India by creating problems for Pakistan. Even former Prime Minister Imran Khan's visit to Russia was planned on the day Russia invaded Ukraine to create diplomatic problems for Pakistan with US and EU.

With what money? MANPADs aren't a threat to PAF, and anything bigger comes at a steep price of billions of dollars. The Afghan government budget was roughly $3 billion last year, and it has shrunk due to trade sanctions from Pakistan.

India can't fund it, as AD systems would be better off being based on Indian soil, rather than Afghan, do how are they going to fund this?

Russia isn't in this for charity, they won't do anything unless they get hard cash.

Pakistan has stepped away from Ukraine in recent times, mostly thanks to Chinese influence and Russian persuasion.

If Russia does this, Pakistan won't sit by quietly. PAF will likely destroy any system that's set up, and Pakistan will go back to supplying Ukraine.

If these systems are to be taken out, it would obvious harm the Russian crew on it.

I don't think so. Russians are not arming TTA terrorists against Pakistan. I doubt if they offered any AD systems to these terrorists. Even if they get it, what they'll do with it other than getting destroyed by Pakistan. Russians probably just want them engaged to narrow any potential space for Americans. Reportedly the TTA terrorists are currently getting $40m or so weekly from Uncle Sam. On the the other hand, no one in world wants TTA to host global terrorist networks in Afghanistan.
