Im not an expert but the "Han" Identity is a cultural identity not a genetic identity. Southern Chinese often look more Vietnamese than us northerners but they are every bit as Han as any other Chinese. Han culture assimilated thousands of ethnic cultural groups into it. If going by genetics alone by DNA shows i have far more in common with koreans/mongolians than Southern Chinese.

And yes, that would mean you have some Turkic/Hun blood being from northern China.

And the southern Chinese have different cuisine too I think? Remember reading about it before but not 100%
