Tang dynasty battles with the caliphate

Turkic Empires were our ancestors
learn about Turkish history since Great Hunnic Emperor METE KHAN ( 209 BC )

Turks did not come to Anatolia from outer space; they came from Central Asia which hosted Turkic Empires
I am saying they never ruled over China. Only the Mongols did.

Mongols were outnumbered Turkic Peoples ,, they were nothing until Genghis Khan
( even 80% of Genghis Khan's army consisted of Turkic soldiers )

Northern China was completely conquered by nomadic coalitions heavily comprising Turkic-Mongolic peoples

Turkic Peoples did not want to rule China

The Turkic Peoples defeated Chinese armies numerous times and conquered vast parts of their territory. However, they made a highly conscious and strategic decision not to settle in China or directly govern its massive population to avoid assimilation.

The Warnings of the Orkhon Inscriptions
The clearest written proof of this policy comes from the Orkhon Inscriptions from the 8th century. The great statesman Bilge Tonyukuk and Emperor Bilge Khagan explicitly warned the Turkic people

-- Do not be deceived by China’s soft silk, sweet words and princesses.

-- If you move into Chinese lands and settle there, you will be outnumbered, absorbed, and lose your Turkic identity.

-- The correct strategy is to stay in the steppes (OTUKEN), maintain military readiness, defeat China from the outside, and make them pay tribute.

Yup, pretty much it is not empty words. China really has big challenge to over come.

Turkic Peoples ruled India and Iran for 800-900 years, even Russians until 1500s
so why wouldn't we be able to rule China ?

Because of a highly conscious and strategic decision not to settle in China or directly govern its massive population to avoid assimilation

Turkic Soldiers already made up 1/3 of the Chinese Army ( Tang Dynasty )

also , They emerged from the highly intermarried Sino-Turkic military aristocracy of the northern frontiers ..... The founders of both the Sui and Tang dynasties had mothers from prominent Turkic/Xianbei nomadic clans

You are a Greek. I know what you are
I am descended from Trojans and Amazons.
And we're the continuation of Eastern Roman Empire.

When Mehmed II visited the ruins of Troy in 1462, Kritovoulos records him saying:

“God has granted me the opportunity to avenge this city and Hector.”

These ancient Turkic peoples, throughout the last 10.000 years, had migrated further into Euroasian steppes, Europe, America, China, India as well as Mesopotomia while bringing their highly intelligent civilizations to the indigenous populations

and These ancient Turkic / Turanians also founded the civilizations of ancient Sumer, early Egypt, China, Indus Valley/India(Harappa) and furthermore influenced on every other early civilizations Sumerians , early Egyptians, Hittites/Hattians, Trojans, Lydians, Etruscans, Pelasgians, Basques and Celts/Picts, Indus civilizations of Harappa and Mohenjo-Dara, Incas, Aztecs, Mayans, and the builders of all ancient worlwide cities including South American cities of Tihuanaco and Karal

During excavations for Istanbul - Beşiktaş Metro, approximately 78 Altai Turkic-type kurgan tombs dating back to 3500 BC and two statues were found.

The statues bear the AK-ANA/UMAY symbol and tamga, which is described as "hands on hips" in Turkish kilim (rug) motifs

Here is scientific evidence that Turkic Peoples were in Istanbul 5500 years ago.

Peter Frederik Suhm on Odin and the Turks —

“However, the name of the Turks could also have been a general designation for all those who accompanied this Odin, for Goths and Aesir as well as for the Vanir: for I find in Langfedgatal that Odin was called the King of the Turks, and likewise Yngwe is also called the father of Njord by the historian Are. The name Türk furthermore seems to have been either an honorific title for several peoples, or also a general name for all wandering peoples, or for nomads.”

(The history of the Danes)

We Turks have connection to the Vikings. it's undeniable that all try to hide it.

I will share more about it.

I feel like being like @_Arabia_ and just share stuff about Turks, and all cultures we influenced in one way or another. :ROFLMAO:

It sounds kind of crazy, but he isn't far wrong. maybe we should start a new thread on it?

I am kind of interested in this side of history, so I got a lot of stuff to share.

I enjoy all the history related threads, especially medieval history and earlier. So if you open it I shall certainly pop along to learn something.

Lol, the Turks in history were hammered hard, smashed and destroyed into pieces and then chased away from Chinese borders into far away corners of the world by Chinese forces in the Tang dynasty when Turks tried to invade Tang. Thats why you people end up where you are in Turkey according yo your own stories. The great wall of China had nothing to do with Turks, it was meant for Xiongnu and Mongols. Stop bragging like Indians about how great Turks were regarding China. Why then the Turks wanted to rule India with also huge population, lol, illogical.

The only people who ever ruled china outside of Han Chinese were Mongols and Manchurians/Jurchens.

China has never been ruled by Turks i don't know why MMME keeps repeating that. In fact China ruled over turks for a long time and pushed them west.

Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty (Li Shimin) earned the title Heavenly Khan (Tian Kehan) in 630 CE after defeating the Eastern Turkic Khaganate. [1, 2, 3]
This dual role allowed him to rule simultaneously as a traditional Chinese Emperor (Son of Heaven) and as the supreme overlord of the nomadic steppe tribes. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Historical Context
    • Military Victory: General Li Jing defeated the Eastern Turks and captured Illig Khagan, making the Tang Empire the dominant power in East and Central Asia. [1, 2]
    • Nomadic Recognition: Tribal leaders of the northern steppes offered Taizong the title Tian Kehan, elevating him above standard khans by invoking "Heaven" (Tengri), which bridged Chinese and Turkic concepts of supreme rule. [1, 2, 3]
    • Cosmopolitan Rule: Taizong treated nomadic subjects with unusual equity, integrating foreign soldiers, traders, and officials into the cosmopolitan capital of Chang'an. [1, 2]

Significance of the Dual Title
    • Son of Heaven (Huangdi): Reflected his legitimacy under traditional Chinese Confucian governance.
    • Heavenly Khan (Tian Kehan): Acknowledged his supreme authority over pastoral and nomadic border societies.
    • Legacy: The title was used by several of Taizong's successors well into the 8th century. [1, 2, 3]
More the like 十足十世界蛮子。
