The Al-Khalid I in War Thunder

It's making quite a buzz in WT. Firepower mobility and TI sights are commendable.

The Al-Khalid is generating significant interest in War Thunder, both jeff and Khalid videos are very popular on YT. However, setting aside its in-game statistics, it is quite a basic tank with mediocre armor, outdated explosive reactive armor, a lack of situational awareness for the commander, no modern defensive systems, and an inefficient engine. If these real-life attributes were to be matched in War Thunder, it's likely it would no longer be a fan favorite. Additionally, the physics models for both the JF-17 and Al-Khalid are not properly developed in War Thunder.

These aspects are reflected in War Thunder with the tank being relatively easily penetrated by comparable Soviet, American, and European MBTs. The mobility is relatively good but nothing remarkable, perhaps the most notable thing is the impressive reverse speed.

For its current rendition in-game, the inaccurate representation has resulted in the commander's sight having a thermal imager which the actual AK1 does not which means it's a bit better off.

World of Tanks . Grinding their Tech tree for tanks is really hard.
