The Al-Khalid is generating significant interest in War Thunder, both jeff and Khalid videos are very popular on YT. However, setting aside its in-game statistics, it is quite a basic tank with mediocre armor, outdated explosive reactive armor, a lack of situational awareness for the commander, no modern defensive systems, and an inefficient engine. If these real-life attributes were to be matched in War Thunder, it's likely it would no longer be a fan favorite.
