The Azeris ruled Iran but the Azeris won´t accept the other way because they were Turkish conquerors at the end of the day and aren´t the same people as Iran.

Let these Farsis revolt and make a state of their own within Iran

Actually Iran/Persian also ruled the region in ancient times and the land changed hands between the Byzantine and Persia.

Just like that? He demanded it just like that? In 1992-1993 the Azeri Army had no chance against the Iranians!

They're just 34 years old (Azerbaijan as a state), much younger than lets say U.A.E.
