Guys,I'd appreciate if you go back and read post https://defencepk.com/forums/threads/the-armenian-azerbaijani-conflict.18120/post-904828
I don't know who this Tom Cooper who wrote analysis is,but I find it very interesting and to the point. The analysis of this war has always been very surface level, nothing new. On one side you have Armenians who could hardly even admit that they lost fair and square, and people on their side influenced by those myths. On other side you have the UAV crowd. And this is the result.

He mentions Armenian counter-attack in Fuzuli, something ignored by most people (or they probably don’t know it). Pashinyan even talked about it on a Russian tv channel on night of 7 October, claiming that the counter-attack was going to change the tide of the war. Armenia threw a large force for that counter-attack.
This video (dated 8 October) shows captured Armenians tanks after that failed counter attack.
Still the texts I posted are a very solid explanation of why Armenians failed. They were stuck in a 2000s war mentality, while warfare changed. Doctrines changed.
Why did you delete the SPIKE NLOS footage? I didn't get to see it :SI’m not disagreeing. I noticed his mention of the counter attack on 7-8 october, this is not something most people even seem to know.

I can post it again. I believe it’s from Fuzuli. Not Nlos but ER/LR.
The Spike ER/LR must have done a lot of work during the 2020 war, huh. And all the while,Armos excelled at using ATGMs from fixed positions, but the battlefield changed. Just like Russians were against top-down attack ATs and couldn't advance without heavy losses.
