1. Recognizing borders – both sides accept the borders from Soviet times as their official international borders and will respect them.

Azerbaijan's claims on Nagorno-Karabakh are valid. Nagorno-Karabakh should belong to Azerbaijan.

Well, at least they talk now.

Iran is angry with Azerbaijani drivers -

Iran has stepped up pressure on drivers transporting goods from Nakhchivan to Baku in protest against the trilateral declaration signed in Washington between Azerbaijan, Armenia, and the United States.

Sfera.az reports that the "Free Iran" Telegram channel reported this.

It was reported that drivers departing from Nakhchivan are left waiting for days in the desert, without food or water, in the dust, before being allowed to enter Azerbaijan.

"There is no food or water here. You have to walk for kilometers to buy anything. There are no toilets here. They treat us like animals," said one of the drivers.

Drivers stressed that Iranian officials are telling them, "If you don't like it, go use the 'Trump route.'"

It should be noted that the declaration signed on August 8 envisages the creation of a "Trump route" between the main part of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan. This road will be under the control of a US company. Tehran has taken a tough stance against this initiative.

I'm thinking "Why?" Their government is doing everything to be friendly with Azerbaijan and Turkey, they didn't use their Su-30s during the war in 2020,what are they trying to do,build a fleet now that the war is over and Pashinian is relying on good relations and diplomacy? 🤷🏻‍♂️

People claim they want to avoid repeating past mistakes. They didn't prepare for war against Azerbaijan and paid the price for doing nothing in the end.

If a lasting peace agreement is reached next year and the borders are reopened, then purchasing these could end up being a waste, though.

Some Armenians criticize the price tag, claiming that buying directly from Russia would be more affordable. They say it's too expensive.

I have not heard of upgraded Indian Su-30 being available for sale. This does not seem to be an accurate news.
