miami being a part of Florida (despite all it’s “peculiarities”) seems more livable, in a climatic sense and the possibility to drive on to the rest of America. Dubai seems like an island.

What is the curviest road in NC?

Trail of the Dragon at Deals Gap with 318 curves in 11 miles: America's number one motorcycle and sports car road. Designated US 129, the road is bordered by the Great Smoky Mountains and the Cherokee National Forest with no intersecting roads or driveways to hamper your travel.



Spent years in this area. Was interested in a Ford Ranger one year, took it for a test ride from one end of the Trail of the Dragon and back. LOL!

Every time I visited.

I knew where momma bear and her cubs hanged out. Treated my folks one year, watching three black bear cubs play in the woods.

Took a nap one day in Cades Cove. Woke up, with one of the 12 known wolves watching me. Very beautiful, majestic, animals.

The wolf could have easily killed me while I was napping in the woods.

I was no threat. So he left me alone. I think animals are more civilized than humans.
