I was curious of the J35 the actual plane is already flying in China was was the small model plane needed to replicate the same design?
Is the model being design locally was some what different plane?
Same assumption if the model is closer to Turkish Prototype

" Wth recent escalation btw India & Pakistan , the Airforces of both counters would likely to actively engage in a short skirmish. Compared to 2019 , IAF would have the secure radio comms, Astra BVRs , Self podded jammers & services of Rafale with Meteors as Top Cover wth S-400 batteries providing the Air defence cover.
On PAF side - the Ghost n the sky J-10CP should provide CAP with JF-17Cs equipped with AESA Radar, PL-15 BVRs with Dual Pulse firing & RD-93MA powering thrust. " The Russian - Ukraine conflict didnot provide aerial encounters between opposition fighter jets for obvious reasons ; yet the aviation enthusiasts might get lucky now.
The indo pak theater is poised to witness potentially one of the biggest showdown between aerial assets fighting with each other in packaged formation. The Top Cover premium assets could engage in a Beyond visual range fight in excess of 70 - 120 km ranges which has never been recorded in this scale.
Both India and Pakistan airforces were previously engaged n 2019 skirmish with IAF employing Mirage 2Ks for ground strike with Spice bombs inside Pakistan territory while PAF retaliating by Swift retort utilizing Erieyes, EW Support by Falcon DA-20 , Vintage Mirages for Ground attack covered by JF-17s and F-16s waiting as snipers at the edge to counter any attackers. In the final outcome, IAF lost a MiG-21 flown by infamous Abhinandan which was jammed and was shot by AIM-120C BVR plus Shots were lobbed towards intruding Su-30MKIs who backed down before one was shot but fell inside indian territory.
This time around after nearly 6 years, IAF & PAF have added new capabilities in addition to ensuring previous gaps were filled.
On the IAF side, a constant effort to produce LCA Tejas MKI variant and equip it with SPJ, AESA Radar and Astra -I BVRs as quickly as the engines inflow occurs from USA was witnessed. On the import side - the French Rafale won the MMRCA and IAF got 36 flying with SPECTRA & formidable Ramjet powered Meteor BVRs. These MBDA marvels have stated ranges based on various parameters anywhere from 100 - 200 kms but the No escape zone of over 50kms ensure that IAF has gained an edge over PAF F-16 - AMRAAM Combo. In addition Pakistan's Air Weapons Complex - GIDS dd sign a formal agreement with Turkiye on development of FAAZ series of BVRs . FAAZ-I is remarked as licensed production of SD-10A chinese BVR while Turkish JV is termed FAAZ-II, Dual Pulse rocket powered missile with Mach 3.5 speed & 180km max range ; both Active RF and IIR guidance available. A DPMR setup has also been reported but without conformation.
On the new fighter jet induction side, Pakistan Airforce was quick to respond to Rafale - Meteor challenge by planning an inducting 4.5 Gen tested Canard Delta J-10CP of upto two squadrons in parcels. The PL-15 laden J-10C's was already termed as Ghosts in the sky by PAF Pilots during Shaheen exercises.
PAF also realised vaunted air-defense gaps closure necessity and went on inductions of Local / Chinese Ground radars , Medium to Long range Air defense systems such as HQ-16FE, FD-2000 & HQ-9B to create defensive buble against fighter jets, Ballistic Missiles & BrahMos threat. The various antidodes to S-400 such as Anti radiation weapons, Loitering munitions of stand off ranges and Fatah series meant that India had to push its S-400 prized assets much deeper inside its territory for them not to become a prized target.
If the latest reports coming out just a day earlier from Pakistani media saying 4 Rafale jets were tracked and locked by PAF assets in Jammu Kashmir airspace are true , we just might be close to witness a long distance slugfest between Rafale Top Covered IAF Package of Su-30 MKIs , Mirage 2000s & Mig-29s versus PAF Sniper J-10CP leading an attack by JF-17Cs, Thunder Block IIs , F-16s supprted by AEW&C cover - in which the PAF has an advantage interms of AWACS units operational.
