It’s funny to believe that China would risk the lives of its own people for another country. That philosophy is very idealistic and, in practical terms, is unlikely to happen.

The same applies to every country. No government will willingly put the lives of its own people at serious risk for another country if the potential cost is too high. National security and the safety of their own population will always come first.

Saudi Arabia has sought assistance from the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union, bypassing the alliance directly.
Even Egypt received a request for assistance from Saudi Arabia.

Let’s see now, do u think maybe that they a bypassed the alliance and approached US because they have the technology they need? Saudi’s already have better kit than Pakistan and Turkey no?? Unless they intend to nuke the Houthi!
As for Egypt - maybe u could just look at a map?

Seriously, this deal does impact to India.

Even if there was no deal - turkey would have supported Pakistan without the deal with indirectly.

Saudi stance might without the deal could have neutral but now only changes, they will do political support to Pakistan... This overall the impact before and after the agreement

I’ve already said that China would indirectly support Pakistan in a future war. It’s not rocket science to understand that. Similar way india will get indirect support from other countries

However, unlike in 1971, when the US and UK were encouraging China to intervene, the possibility of direct military intervention has now become almost negligible. A conflict between two nuclear-armed states creates an entirely different level of risk, and other countries are unlikely to directly interfere because their own people’s safety, national security, and strategic interests come first.

Even putting nuclear weapons aside, if a war broke out between Saudi Arabia and Iran today, Pakistan’s chances of directly joining the war against Iran would be very limited. Once again, national interests, the safety of its own people, and the risk of escalation would come first.

Russia’s war in Ukraine is a good example. Russia has repeatedly treated the direct deployment of foreign military personnel as a red line. So far, no NATO country has officially deployed its own combat forces to fight Russia directly, largely because of the risk of escalation and the principle that national security and the safety of their own citizens come first.
