If a mob truly was harassing his wife then police or campus security should have been called to deal with it. Her husband has zero authority there. It seems like a protest was taking place. Protesting is a democratic right and if the place was an issue, it’s up to campus security or police to deal with it. The law and justice system is no different for an average civilian of wife of an army officer. Her husband took the law in his own hands where he had no authority to do so. He must be punished to send a clear message to everyone. No one is allowed to take the law in their own hands.

He was perfectly within his right to put bullets in heads

All that should matter to him is protecting his wife, that's his job as a husband


People have been killed in mob violence, and whenever afghani are involved they behave like rabid animals and should be treated as such

The officer did the right thing, whatever the outcome, he defend his wife and himself
