Pakistan cannot afford to allow Israel to achieve air superiority over Tehran, as this would grant the Israeli Air Force unchallenged dominance over Iranian airspace, posing a direct and existential threat to Pakistan’s security. Given the proximity between Pakistan and Iran, unrestricted Israeli operations near Pakistan’s western border could embolden future aggression, especially considering Israel’s past attempts to strike Pakistan’s nuclear facilities in 1984 and 1998. If Israel establishes control over Iranian skies, it could not only threaten Pakistan directly but also collaborate with India, creating a dangerous two-front scenario. A militarily dominant Israel in the region could share intelligence, technology, and even coordinate strikes with India, leaving Pakistan vulnerable to simultaneous threats from the east and west. This strategic nightmare would undermine Pakistan’s deterrence capabilities and destabilize the entire region. Therefore, supporting Iran’s air defense is not just an act of solidarity but a vital necessity for Pakistan’s survival. To counter this looming danger, Pakistan must strengthen alliances with Turkey, China, and Russia to bolster Iran’s defenses and ensure that neither Israel nor India can exploit the situation. Failing to act now could lead to an irreversible shift in the regional balance of power, putting Pakistan at the mercy of hostile adversaries. Proactive measures—including joint military exercises, advanced air defense systems, and diplomatic coordination—are essential to prevent this dual threat from materializing.

But there is a very good reason why Israel is staying in Western Iran. I think they suspect that as soon as they venture into Eastern Iran, there is something waiting for them there. In my earlier posts here, I strongly advocated that PAF creates a no-fly zone in Eastern Iran. ANything entering here needs to be shot down.

Israel had air superiority in the first 48 hours. Iran airforce doesn't exist anymore

Or, it could be as simple as they don't have the range even with the additional tanks they now have.

Israel has limited air refueling capability. Those aircraft are not going to be at risk over Iranian airspace. Perhaps Iraqi but even then I'm skeptical that would allow the IAF the range needed to operate deep in Eastern Iran.

Utterly false argument. Pakistan should do only what serves its OWN national interests, nothing more, and nothing less. Getting involved needlessly in somebody else's war never works out well.

It's too late at least for now.... , iran foreign policy was disaster...

They tried to play like India by sitting in both camps of India and China...and also talks with usa... Deals with Russia however it was all business rather than making ally.

At the end no one was their true friend.. Indian betrayed them... China may help them... Russia is occupied... And Pakistan... It cannot provide anything as long range transfer missiles will push Pakistan under sanctions

Wrong. A cyber attack and the attack on the leadership paralysed all AD. There is absolutely no images of destroyed Iranian planes on the ground. It is as intact as it was initially.

Iranian AD is working.

We have so far seen no evidence of their claimed kills. Let's see.

Israeli jets have entered Tehran, Iran, to conduct bombings, and Iran’s air defense system has been destroyed. The United States may not need to negotiate with Iran. Its aircraft carriers have moved to the Persian Gulf, and 26 U.S. aerial refueling tankers have arrived in Europe. They are likely to participate in the bombing of Iran next.

Help with what?

Nice joke, the Iranians helped the Indians cover up the rape of YOUR women at Kunan Poshpora in the 90s by killing an OIC resolution condemning Indian occupation.

The Iranians see you as nothing but an slave to be ruled by their mighty Persian empire, just like Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq.

The iranians have continued their one-sided love affair of India, even after India voted against Iran three times on nuclear resolutions, and after India state-affiliated Major Gobar Arya called Iranian diplomat a pig while he was in India.

The Iranians support multiple proxies within Pakistan including Zainaboun and BLA. They want to divert investment from Gwadar to Chahbahar, the Indian port. Why do you think BLA never attacks Iran but is always hijacking trains in Pakistan on behest of RAW?

You condemn India for their operation Sindoor but Iran did the same thing and launched BM at your cities in 2024. Why the double standard in outrage? Is war only tragic when it reaches the cities of Punjab? On that topic, the Iranians were signing trade deals with India a day after Sindoor.

You people are so gullible... Just like Israel is running constant propaganda begging the US to intervene and save their arses, the IRGC is also running constant propaganda begging Pakistan to intervene and save their arses.

Israel is the bastion of global zionist filth and I despise it, but Iran is no friend of Pakistan.

The only way Iran should get nuclear protection is if the Iranians' persian empire syndrome is cured permanently and they stop acting like the UAE and double crossing Muslims 24/7.

Yes, Iran was being arrogant. It was talking big things without having the capability to back it. It was doing hard bargain with India, Russia & China despite having no other options in light of western sanctions. Iran badmouthed India wrt Kashmir, refused to give concessions on gas fields to India. It also drove hard bargain with China, seeking large investments and other trade deal for $5 discount on its oil. Even with Russia, it was trying to act like an equal partner taking advantage of Russian lack of sea access in Asia. In contrast, the Arab states have been generous in doling out investments and concessionary oil and gas sales to important partners, with little conditions and no hard bargaining.

India, also does hard bargains but unlike Iran, India has the capability to back it up with technological advancements, defence might and strategic leverage. Even India shows soft nature to its long term friends like Russia and acts as a bulwark against western domination. But Iran is just a loud mouth which has left it with no friends.

Iran has regularly needled India wrt kashmir, even very recently. Iran is no friend of anyone. Iran thinks of itself as the Caliph and tries to act tough which irritates everyone.

An air force that cannot fly is really neither in the "air" nor a "force" at all, by definition.

I support Iran in this war but there is not much Pakistan can do, Iran shoot itself in the foot by not testing nukes, with them testing Nukes KSA would've been forced to have their own nukes and eventually Turkey as well, now we will have 4 major Muslim powers who have few but Nuclear weapons, Iran has compromised its national security just because some religious scholar given a fatwa, which was stupid.
