Oh man that's sad, can't we have some middle ground ? On a serious note, not sure when this circus and Political divide will be over, if its ever gonna be over... Because from how I see things, killing of Charlie opens a new chapter in that division meaning that a famous speaker can be taken out by a nut job, I mean we already have right wing crazies shooting out immigrants/mosques/black churches/Synagogues etc but now they lost a young dynamic speaker of their own, and a lot of them are basically ticking time bombs living in Country side preparing for the end of the world or govt collapse or some civil war.

That's a good question. Strangely and sadly, believe it or not, having those views is not the worst part; PUSHING those views is. In the old days, the other side (Democrats, Liberals, what you call them woke people) would have no problem with Conservatives having these kinds of views, they live their life, and the liberal live theirs. now coming to second point, Vietnam cost roughly 50k Americans lives and hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians, war crimes were committed by America in that war. So if Americans really want another Vietnam to get together than I would say its a messed up nation, a nation that require bloodshed of hundreds of thousands of innocent lives just so they stop fighting each other that is not a nation.

Entire social media is filled with conspiracy theories of how and why he died. Alot of evidence points out to Israel's involvement which alot of conservative and liberals believe. Infact more conservative journalists believe in Israel's involvement theory.
Now new evidence suggests that the 22 year old shooter was just a decoy just like JFK case. If israel involvement turns out to be true then that means Kirk was becoming a threat to Israel and they had to eliminate him since he had a huge conservative audience.

I am not speaking as I am a Republican or Democrat, or whether I am a fan of Kimmel, or a fan of the President, I am writing this as an American whose father fought valiantly in Vietnam, whose brother fought valiantly in Iraq, whose grandfather fought in the air over Europe during WW2, and whose great-grandfather fought in Texas and Mexico, we are all American, it doesn't matter what your affliation what you believe, Freedom of Speech is the BASIC value all American Process, without it, we will live in fear, as I personally found out growing up in Hong Kong and China, where one wrong word in China during the 80s and 90s will get you into physical trouble, and people who speak their mind in tianenmen square was crushed (literally) by a dictatorship regime.

People take freedom of speech for granted, because that's a god given right we were born with, and any censorship is an overreach to our fellow citizens. You may see things differently than I do, because we are two different individuals, but the moment when the government comes down on us and watches what we say, then this should be the time we resist that government. I am not a fan of Kimmel, it's kind of hard as I don't live in the US, and I can't watch ABC in Australia (Well, not this ABC https://www.abc.net.au/ , which I watch all the time) And if I wanted to watch Kimmel, the only place I can watch is on Youtube, and I don't usually watch satire TV show on YouTube, just WW2 or military documentary. Anyhow, I will say, regardless of which spectrum you were on, when it's time for a government, ANY government, to clamp down on free speech, that's the time you should stand up and say no, because this is not right for all of us.
