No, China will not accommodate India in order to deal with US. Superpower India is more than capable to deal with another superpower US on its own.

Fact is that India is diplomatically cornered and has nothing to offer to the P-5 in the UNSC to get their Veto without paying a huge price. All India can do is to bribe different countries with massive purchases of weaponry or giving trade concessions. Of course if a lay person like me can see that then the China is well aware of India's situation. Even on an Indian forum, they are worried about Trump's upcoming visit to China. The Great Power Games of humanity never dies!

Modi's foreign policy is already hurting India with no end in sight. What if, even after giving concessions to Trump, Trump would want India to 'do more'. Trump is a bully and he will act like a bully. This is how I see the current situation. Only by a genuine desire to live in peace with its neighbors, settling territorial disputes, making even friends, winning trust would be route forward for India to get out of its quagmires of its own making.

The official Pakistan is rejoicing over the 'deal' with Trump and I tend to think they have reasons to. This is not a democratic setup in Pakistan where political calculations would embellish everything.

Not only the Chinese: The official India, as late as 2021, was calling the Afghan Taliban as 'terrorists'. Even Indian journalists covering the US withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021, were calling the Taliban 'terrorists'. But when the Ashraf Ghani govt fell, their tune changed. And how stupid was that, after all that, recently Indian reached out to the Afghan Taliban regime by citing some old civilizational ties. WTH! The Taliban are not that stupid; they would milk India and would do whatever they please to do.
Similarly, trying to blunt the Trump policies, India reaching out to China was another fantasy.
Just amazes me as to why Indians thought so highly of their Foreign Minister Jaishankar. The guy is the worst FM in India's history!!

What??!!
Every country in the world wants more 'natural resources'. Just because the Nigerias and the Venezuelas of the world have failed, doesn't mean there are dozens others who have not thrived due to their natural resources.
If Pakistanis were that stupid despite not having huge fossil fuel then you'd see Pakistan reduced to another weak South Asian country at the mercy of India.

We have always liked Pakistan, but if your words represent all of Pakistan, you better pray that the next India-Pakistan conflict will not lead the U.S. to abandon Pakistan. I am even more skeptical that without the China-Pakistan relationship, the U.S. would instigate an India-Pakistan conflict. Think about how the U.S. supported India during the recent India-Pakistan conflict.
