Trump Announces Major Pakistan Trade Deal, Vows Joint Oil Development/Exploration

I wonder who will claim the oil is being stolen from them, Sindhis? Makranis? maybe the fishes?
Sindh I think or the coastline
Army already stole most of Karachi so everything would end up in their coffers anyway through Karachi

China is a friend but sometimes friends do act like jerks .... Chinese were getting arrogant and believed Pakistan has nowhere to go and is destined to be her bitch .... it's a wake-up call for china.

Pakistan has done a brilliant job of not bending to the intense American pressure after 9/11 to give India the primacy in South Asia while also maintaining very close strategic relations with China AND also maintaining favorable commercial ties with America and American allies.

As far as China is concerned: The better the Pakistani economy is, the better for China too because they must be tired of constantly 'rescheduling' Pakistan's loans. They know that Pakistan will never betray their trust, that Pakistan is a very efficient ally to keep India in check... good enough for China.

Whoever made the decision to not buy oil from russia, just did pakistan a massive service. We should focus on China, US, GCC and ukraine.

PTI mferss also bitched about us selling weapons to ukraine. We lost so much revenue and potential trade because of imran khans tantrums and fake rehtroic.

Medal to centcom general was also worth it, but we have this weird moral religious lens that keep fucking us over and over. Pakistan comes first and our economic interests come first.
It honestly breaks my heart to say this, but PTI supporters might not take this news positively and are likely to spin it into yet another conspiracy. Sadly, the only ones truly unhappy about this development seem to be Indians and passionate PTI loyalists.

It shouldn’t be like this. At the end of the day, Pakistan should come first, above parties, personalities, and politics. Progress, no matter who facilitates it, is still progress for the country we all claim to love.

I think maybe the insurgency in Baluchistan might stop over time, even if we don't end up finding any oil reserves.....

Exactly. People forget that geopolitics is driven by shifting interests, not sentiment or conspiracy. Pakistan’s nukes have survived far more volatile times and not because of luck, but because they’re protected by credible deterrence and strategic calculus.

The U.S. isn’t suddenly “friendly” it's recalibrating. India’s inflated utility in the China containment plan is clearly plateauing, especially with New Delhi asserting its own terms. Washington needs options, and a stable Pakistan with economic potential is a logical choice not a favor.

You're right though, it won’t last forever. It never does. But the smart play is to engage, benefit, and build leverage while the window is open. That’s how nations rise, not by sulking in paranoia, but by making moves when the board shifts.
There's a bit more to it ....it may sound preposterous to not so suave minds , Pakistan is carving out her own sphere of influence with American help.... you may ask ! Why would America do that...answer is simple , to keep Russian and Chinese influence in check .

You can literally see on the forum where people are saying military will fill its coffers.

These people would rather burn the country down then accept any positive outcome. The only progress acceptable to them is under their messiah or anti pak army rehtroic otherwise everything is zero for them.

I think Trump bhai Jazbaat mai zayda hi beh gaye, India will buy oil from Pakistan? Sarsun ka oil ya Narial ka?

I think Trump is using Pakistan as a bargaining tactics against India. PAKISTAN should not get there hopes too high.
Whatever comes next, we've seen worse and stood tall. Pakistan will survive, it always does.

For now, let’s sit back, grab some popcorn,
and watch the neighbors dance in slow-motion rage, like a full-blown Bollywood meltdown, drums beating, sarees flying, and bhakts crying.

History has a strange sense of humour.
This time, it’s on our side.

Filhal to India ko burnol ki zarurat hai. Lets export that first 👍🏻
Don't count or deep fry your chicks before they hatch, America promise a lot of things to Pakistan just like the Saudi's and other GCC, world is a F'd up mess right now and such deals doesn't come without their set backs, when it comes to dealing with America hope for the least and prepare for the worse.

I don't understand why they cry about this when Russia sells tens of billions of dollars worth of weapons to India, including the Brahmos they used to target our children this May.
