No proper data but it is in 5000 ton class. so I dont know 64 or 128. But I have seen articles with 32 VLS. its odd 5000 ton and 32 only.

Wait till you see European 10000ton ships with 16 VLS cells, I believe we should still look to acquiring 2 of these.

10000 ton with 16vls I dont understand why so much weight ? is it munitions ?

Also why all our new ships have 75mm gun.

The 32VLS of the 054b is similar to that of the U.S. FFG(X). if carrying a small round like the ESSM. It can carry 128 of them.

It really can only carry 32 if it is carrying missiles such as the HQ-16EF. In the Chinese Navy's fleet, the 054B's main mission is anti-submarine, not air defense. The air defense mission is mainly carried out by the 052DL, 055. It doesn't need much VLS. and 054B will have more tonnage for electric propulsion, stealth design, new sonar and Z-20F helicopter?

Though I'd love to see that happen. But that cannot happen as Navy receives lowest share of defense budget. BTW, even with budget adjustments this much acquisitions and types looks impossible. But a couple of large ships can be added provided we change some priorities and do some budget adjustments.

IMO, a slight cut in army budget can be done and that to be given to navy & airforce. Currently, the allocation is as follows (roughly ):

Pak army nearly 50%, ISI about 20%, Airforce 20% and Navy 10%.
So in essence Pak army receives about 70% as army controls and dominates ISI. That leaves airforce with 20% and navy with only 10%.

I know army has to be given more because of long land borders but still some adjustments can be made. For army going from 50% to 45% isn't too much of a difference, but for navy going from 10% to 15% will be like 50 percent increment. Can opens up plethora of options for its service.

If your SLC / sea trade, ports, and skies are secure then you are safe in the ground as well. Enemy needs air cover / air superiority for ground invasions and enemy cannot attain such if you have invested well in your airforce. Similarly navy is too important as well. It's one arm that has most range and helps increase your influence in the region and beyond.

Jinnah Class Frigate is long way out, this will be our next item

Not much beneficial. I think PN has realized used warships era is gone. These are for very temporary measures and takes lot of resources for maintenance. Spends more time in dry docks then be available for combat. China won't sell any newer warship from its own service. It will sell 20,25 yrs old hull. So better to go new ones, go for couple of 54-Bs. Otherwise if not much budget then again go for couple more Damen-2600s and armed these with CAMMs & SMASH.

On the other note, I think PN has a peak capacity of operating x number of warships. We don't know how much it is based on its operational budget, number of sailors avaliable, number of docking platforms, number of bases. I think with current number of warships we are pretty close to its peak optimal operational capacity. So first PN needs to build more naval bases with more numbers of platforms before it may want to add further warships. PN has just 2 proper naval bases with docking ability for large warships ( Ormara & Karachi). Gwadar too can be used but its not primarily built for that and has very small docking area as of now. So I'd love to see PN doing a vast expansion on its naval bases first and then it will show that PN is looking to further expand the naval fleet.
